You are my west coast Pastor and I don’t know how anyone doesn’t cry every Sunday because I can hear your heart. It pours out like a running faucet 💧. I feel like He lead you to prayer because so many of us need EXACTLY that. This time was not less than what we need Preston, its EVERYTHING we need. Not a bandaid, which is what preaching can sometimes be, the actual medicine and bedrest.

It helps us to lean in more, appreciate what you’ve experienced, and receive what the Lord has spoken through you. Most Pastor’s do not do that and it’s more confusing than it is helpful. I’m not sure how old this video is, however, there is no time limitations for the Holy Spirit to speak to a heart that is experiencing some of these weights.

It's a good thing I'm not a part of the Pillar Church physically. I would not have sat down at all in this service. Crucifying my flesh hurts and it keeps coming back to life. :(
When I 1st viewed this message, I stopped because I heard e saw Preston say “ just act like you didn’t hear Him in the preview. “ I was on meth at the time e really didn’t want to view this in the 1st place. But I’m grateful I am now.
Thank God that He meets us and answers prayers and needs so lovingly. So much from this sermon hit the nail on the head for me. I needed prayer in all these areas and God was truly with me. From the worry to the waiting to the intercession and last of all the wrestling. I said just 6 hours ago to my sister in Christ that I feel like I'm wrestling with God and with my own flesh. I praise God for everything He has done and everything He is doing. Holy is His name.
I really needed that last prayer: wrestling God for something he wants from me. It’s been so hard and I’ve given up everything I called my own to take up the cross. It hurts and it’s a lonely season but I’m still clinging with all my heart and being to be close to him and walk in his ways.
Not me over here waiting until the end of the month looking for the other Holy Spirit sermons that I have missed, only to find this - what the intended series would have been, this is EXACTLY what I needed to hear today. Not last week, not yesterday, but right now. Thank you for sharing the weight of following Jesus. Thank you for taking time to utilize prayer on Sunday mornings more than just alter call. Just keep, Preston. Thank you, Holly, for leading well and allowing the Holy Spirit to administer through you so that your husband was able to hear exactly what you wanted Him to hear.

I had to stop this video and turn it off. The amount of times you negatively prophesied over yourself and the church by saying we don’t care just killed it for me. What an awful thing to speak over yourself and your congregation. If they really don’t care then maybe teach them about what the bible says about love and compassion instead of feeding them with “you don’t care” what could have been a powerful sermon was desstroyed and wasted
