Its in Dropped D. work out the riff (1 1 3 4 9 8...6 6 9 8 4 1....you just use one finger to play a 2 note chord... well one per melody note per finger on the left hand in the main riff.
Cadence- 'A string' (6 4) 'Estring' (8 6 4 1 1 1 1)
In the other section you play barre minor chords Ebm Bbm(without the 6th string bass note cause the strings' detuned) and then Abm(same no bass note) and back up again to Bbm
oh yeah if you take time to work out what the main riff melody notes are they outline the chords like an awesome melodic bass line ...its a three chord song

it actually doesn't go off tempo much at all if any, and he was playing the rhythm part specifically the bass line

Very cool voice and playing. The only thing which is a little bit annoying is your timing/rhytm. Your breaks/rests are far to short. When you sing the "feel good" along, you get it right and groovy. But without it you loose the beat very often. Just practise with a click, preferably a kick & snare loop. I am 100% sure this isn't because of a lack of talent. :)
Again: You're good! But for a drummer this sounds a little awkward.

in this video the mic recording the sound is the Zoom HN1 "the fluffy thing on the mic stand'. we decided not to use the sound from the equipment. but the mic i use for live performances is sennheiser e945

Azor Ahai i think you got to learn some basics first. for this song you probably need to practise playing power chords first
Tzen- gzy how long do i need for that if i learn 2 x per week .. 1 year?
or less, once you get the basics like tempo, chords changing, the pressure on each chord ,rythm and others things (the time you need to learn will depend) i didnt practice as much, like 1 x 2 weeks or even months with no practice and i get it into a year, with responsability you could play it after 6 months
I play the guitar since mid September and I can play this, it's not really hard. You can learn it the first day if it's really what you want but a simpler version
It's rare nowadays...so much passion in singing(and playing some instrumment). Hope to see more covers so good as yours. Regards from Brazil!
