My tegu loves red seedless grapes, when she stopped eating them thats when i knew she was getting ready to brumate .so refusing food favs could be a tip to pass 'long for signs of brumation maybe

Surf crab and estuary crabs are really small and crunchy. Not people food but good fish and I imagine lizard food. But I don't know that. I'm giving a w.a.g.

I’m all for dog food end cat food as long as it’s of good quality . Of course I use it as a filler to supplement the diet of his other foods or if I’m working late it’s something I can keep in there for him to snack on.

Can they eat bluey buffet? I have a very picky tegu I’ve tried a variety of proteins so far only have luck with beef hearts and lung and Dubia roaches but when it comes to veggies and fruits he will either pick through or avoid it entirely

My tegu refuses to eat veggies or fruit unless it has been next to a protein. I think it’s because when I got him the previous owners didn’t know what to feed him so they fed his as though he was an iguana I don’t think he was offered any protein other than mice

A good trick is to mix the veggies in with ground meat, to trick them into eating their veggies lol

would warn people of feeding aquarium fish to reptiles or catching your own feeders. Aquarium fish contain an enzyme thiaminase which may lead to neurological disorders. Feeders in the wild could have parasites.
