THIS is how I always prefer to learn a new game! Thank you... and I'm looking for more :-)
Me too. That’s kind of why I started doing them! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I am so happy to see this! We played it so many times last night but didn't realize we could roll more than twice! GAME CHANGER! :) Thank you for such a thorough explanation!
Glad I could help!
I am so excited I bought this game!
well said. thanks for the upload.
Glad you enjoyed it
This is an old game just reissued and changed the name, don’t go to jail from 1991 then it was later released as monopoly express and they added the houses
I reviewed that game way back when and I didn't connect the dots! Thanks for filling me in. ua-cam.com/video/gllgGFLSk1w/v-deo.html
It is a good thing they brought something identical back.
If it makes money, it makes sense!
Do you have one on home improvement
Are houses returned at the end of the round or do you keep them
A good adaption.
We liked it. I think it’s more fun with a slight house rule on how scoring works but a fun game none the less
I like your videos
Thanks! Let me know if you ever have any suggestions.
Electric Avenue? You mean Electric Company.
😂
Just got it! Two questions: if you roll a 3rd police officer and a get out of jail die at the same time, do they cancel each other out?
Also, if you roll the Hotel die and get $5k, do you write that down and keep rolling for the chance to get another $5k if you get a hotel and then also count the houses as $4k when you want to end your turn?
1. Nope, the third police triggers first
2. Not 100% sure. The rules say Score 5000, so I think it means you just automatically get it and cant lose it?
Actually sounds like a decent game.
What was your house rule?
I like it a lot. The houser rule is to make the end game scoring like Zombie Dice where hitting X points doesn’t end the game, but rather make it so everyone has one more turn. This lets the players try to chase that one HUGE turn even if 99 Percent of the time it ends up in jail
@@BowersGameCorner Makes sense. I can see how that could be more of a climax.
I have a doubt, I don't know much English, but in the score, I understand that only the points of a single incomplete group will be added, for example I have the four trains, the incomplete brown, and the incomplete strong blue, the brown being minor does not add points, only the four trains and the value of the blue die would be added, the value of the coffee is cancelled.
If all the groups are incomplete, only the one with the most points is selected, and it is the only one that adds points, the others are cancelled.
In the example of min 4:00, they have 800 points for the services, the trains would give 600 points and the green ones 800, in this case the trains are canceled because they are worth less than the green ones, giving a score of 1600, 800 of services and 800 of the greens. the rule says that they can only add points from an incomplete group and it must be the largest.
all the points of the other incomplete groups could be added, but that would already be a homemade rule, because if it is done in a normal way the game would be much shorter. I would recommend that option but winning by making more points. Personally, I prefer the original rules. but the important thing is to have fun, greetings from Mexico, I would like to know what you think.
I apologize, I'm wrong, your example is exactly what I said, I had to watch the video many times to understand it.
Is this made by the same company that did the Sorry! Diced?
Yep. They’re available on Amazon and at Kroger I think
If I get a railroad set or utilities set. Do I get the house/hotel dice? I don't see you doing it here but the rules state once you complete a set, you can roll the house/hotel dice. I feel like these 2 sets should be excluded from the opportunity to get the house/hotel dice but this isn't stated in the official rule pamphlet. P.S. Not a fan of house rules. :)
Thoughts?
No, it’s in the rules under Completing a property “once you fill all of the squares in a solid color group…”
So no utilities or railroads
@@BowersGameCorner Thank you for the reassurance. Under "Completing a Properly" in my pamphlet, it doesn't state that which is why I asked. Very odd.
First
Thanks buddy!
