In Stamina Mode, Smash Bros changes to a traditional fighting game with health values instead of damage. When they run out of HP, they let out a Star KO cry.
Because for a good while, Luigi WAS just up-pitched Mario. He didn't get a consistent, unique voice until some time later, I forget exactly when the modern, recognizable Luigi voice debuted. It might actually have been in the GameCube era
@@aprinnyonbreak1290 It's more like Smash was just weird about it for some reason with 64 and Melee, because most N64 Mario spin-offs I can think of [I don't know about Golf and Tennis] had him have his own distinct voice, with Mario Kart 64 having his voice be pretty in-line with how we'd know it from Luigi's Mansion onwards, and Mario Party having it be weirdly different [although that was the case for basically every all of the speaking Mario cast], but still distinct from Mario
