julie chen hooked up with moonves while he was still a married man of 26 years - and she was a 'reader' on a morning show. once divorced, they were quickly married - and then surprise, surprise - she was front and center on not 1 but 2 shows. julie absolutely knew what she was getting in to - the man was doin' this when she met him, ffs. she looked the other way (she should call camille cosby). just like all these rich women do. it's not a problem for them until and unless it effects their personal net worth and bank accounts directly. until then, they make the conscious decision to look the other way and stay silent. patti does as well.
Creepin is one thing. Actual rape and molestation is another thing. You think Julie Chen knew that?! I'm not sure...
any man who wields power at the workplace: (relative specifically to the power that comes with his own job title) in order to barter; intimidate; threaten; or harass ~ yes. that makes him accountable for serial sexual harassment. he was when she met him ~ that's HOW she met him, ffs. yes, she knew. julie is hardly a victim here. this man has been getting away with this shit for 40 years.
FYI: Moonves was already separated from his wife when him and Julie got together.
FYI ~ "separated" is NOT divorced. that's nothing more than geography ~ living separately is STILL married. it's easy enough to find public statements from the ex to back that up.
Some couples stay separated for YEARS before the divorce is finalized, especially if there are custody battles arguments over alimony etc,
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been separated for years and he's dating someone. Same thing happened with Trump and one of his exes..and Bethany Frankel and that jerk who wouldn't divorce her before taking her to the cleaners...

Never heard the rumor of Julie attempting to leave hubby at first. But she does love him and after long talks she likely agreed that all wives can't be leaving a good marriage over decades old actions when a boyish, power tripping man abused his power like all men in the business. I agree that if it was like a Weinstein when the wife had to know and many of the cases were more current, then it is time to call the farce of a marriage quits.
His last family name is Munweis which he did change for some reason. It's not moon- but Munweis according to Wikipedia.

MrsV....So far the allegations that we know of precedes the 14 year old marriage. In fact they mentioned 20 years. So even if Julie was a home wrecker to Les's ex wife, she did not necessarily know about a power tripping aggressive business mogul years prior even if he was seducing her with charm. Weinstein on the other hand had countless and more recent accounts through a decade long marriage. And his frequent private jet trip and private one on one meetings with women was just well know throughout Hollywood casting. And for his wife, it was more about the comfortable life while boys will be boys as long as she did not have to sleep with him any more. Julie and Less did have a real marriage behind the glitz with their son and home and yes he did take care of her by making her queen of CBS. Now that she's been blindsided which I truly believe, she will have to eat some crow for talking about Camille the way that she did, and for defending hubby in his harsh treatment of Janet Jackson with the super bowl wardrobe mishap. But first, can you also imagine the tension at that Talk table (if she actually returns) with Sharon who called her hubby a problem as if it were still current instead of saying "he acted indecently and had a big problem". Julie should just stick to the games of BB b/c returning to that table to face coworker and talk relationships is going to be a mess for the first few days; but I would not want to miss it.
