I miss chimaira, please come back please
I miss them too. Greatest groove metal band. I think their manager suck..
I think the ship has sailed unfortunately. Seems like it would've happened if COVID didn't. But since than, more time goes on, they're all settled in their lives. I think it's over
The part around @10:10 always gets me. Very emotional song for me.
Maaaaaaaaaan if i miss old bands creating new content is Chimaira and God Forbid FOR SURE, fuck i miss those riffs.
Keep ‘em coming. Liberated Tape Archive is one of my favorite channels.
I was watching Chimaira on there last week. that channel has so much sick stuff from back in the day.
I think if I remember correctly about the time of Pass Out’s 10th anniversary, Mark was answering questions on Twitter and he said Jade was one of his favorites from the album to play live.
Dope. I remember this tour. I was also excited to see 36CF and God Forbid. I was super into RR records back then. I saw the show before this one in SF at the Pound. Great memories!
Nice! Always great shows and memories at The Pound!
I love the Glen Benton " comparison". Cause Glens " pose" when singing and paying..is friggin awesome..and so is Marks ;) I think it is sooo cool to see live footage from the vault. Of course the sound is not " perfect"..but it doesnt need to be either :) Thaaaank you so much for sharing this footage., Greetings from theNorwegianCarDrummer, Stefan ;)
4:56 wow perfect music and ambiance with full on nostalgia going on .... great moment .
🤘
my first chimaira cd....and it blew me away.👍🤘
Dude! That was awesome to see!! I really like this format with you explaining before hand. Please keep them coming!!
Cool Scotty!
Man I miss chimaira, wish for some new tunes!!!
This is my favorite song on this album!!!!!
Awesome Rob and keep the old footage coming!!!!
Chimaira was my very first concert, it was at Peabody's. I was probably like 14. I look back and think your music was the only thing giving me a voice when I was so confused. I really miss the excitement for new music and videos, but I'm also so happy to relive this feeling seeing something so rad. Keep em coming!
Also, I met you at the last chimaira Xmas show & you made a comment about my ICP shirt, shits still funny to this day
Haha awesome! I feel like I randomly say some ICP line or lyric in my head at least once a day. 🤣
This is so crazy, I was actually listening to implements 2 days ago at work breaking it down wondering how you guys created so many riffs and melodies then stuck them together and basically made old long flowing intricate structures like Metallica. The idea of you guys putting the puzzle piece together after shows was really cool, definitely seals the album. I hope that's how SIX also came about considering "she" is chimaira and all. ImI
Six came about in a different way! I think I describe it in Everything You Love ep. 03!
Nice! That's awesome to see where my favorite instrumental song started, thanks for sharing!!
Iv always loved Jade and the whole Pass Out album. I know it gets hated on, as shown in the documentary on The Impossibility DVD BUT, it’s a fantastic album
it is !
I always loved how beefy Jade was in that mega low (for the time) tuning.
Chimaira, shadows fall, diecast, god forbid and silent civilian need to make a comeback. Watching these tapes takes me back to a simpler time.
Haha Silent Civilian! Yes!
Love the deicide comparison 🤘🤘💙
🤘
I still go back and watch the old Farm Club performance, takes me back to when I watched the original premier
Holly fucking shit, I was at this show! 🤘❤️
Dude that's killer!🤘
Thanks for sharing rob. I really enjoy seeing videos like this hits in all the right spots. Your always making amazing videos for us to watch. Just keeps getting better
👊
Would be cool to see a live video of “empty” one a my favorites man!!!
Brilliant video Rob really love hearing about the earlier days and the genesis of some of the songs. Can definitely hear the elements of implements from this clip. Great stuff
🤘
Great videos man !🤘🤘
Thanks Boku!🤘
love that hat, dude! Wayne sent me one too
That so funny! I just sent Wayne pictures of TJ and I both wearing that hat, after we realized we were both wearing it during a FaceTime call LAST NIGHT!
@@RobArnoldWorld Wayne is such a cool guy! I hope they can get Bleed The Sky up and going again soon. They never got the attention that super talented band truly deserve!
Sweet seeing this, regardless the sound quality still cool to see🤘🏻👊🏼
Your instrumentals are incredible! I was air drumming along.
THAT WAS SICK! Cool hearing that section in G
keep showing the vhs videos 🤘😎🤘
one of the favourite song ever, ty Rob for super rare video !
The Scene! I played there a couple of times. Memories. And yes, please upload regardless of quality!
Hey Rob. I think I started listening to you guys in '03 or '04. Pass Out of Existence is an album that got me through a lot and Chimaira, as a whole, was a major influence in my own playing. Chimaira has always been one of my favorite bands to this day, and I was so stoked to be able to open for you guys in 2013 in Michigan with my band at the time. Mark pulled me up on stage and gave me a mic, and then couldn't stop laughing :D It was the best thing ever. Thanks for all the great music over the years, bud.
Awesome Randy! Thank you for the years of support!
My all time favorite song by my all time favorite band! You guy will always be my heroes! I just had Hager tat the Chimaira blood logo on me recently. Long live the mighty Chimaira!!!
Sick man! 👊
The tuning is... Drop Djade✨🙌😸
Nice one!
Rob is amazing that You keep showing to us The fans , all this things wey didn't enjoy and mostly some of the people that wey live outside US we didn't see that live. Si thanks and keep doing it. I miss the band, You where one of My faves.
🤘
@@RobArnoldWorld i still have all the CDs and DVDs i was a fan since the first record. I wish You go back together for a reunion tour
Thanks for sharing! Chimaira was my first concert. 2002 at canes in San Diego. With No One, Ill Nino, and Kittie.
Awesome! As I said, I always loved doing to Canes!
I seem to remember mark doing the wall of death on the impossibility touring before ol randy did.
You are correct sir! But Sick Of It All did it before us! haha
Omg what a throwback
I love videos like this. Brings me back to my early 20s. 👴🏼
Nice find, that was one of my favorites and out of all the times I saw ya'll live I never got that one.
11:58 You guys had that Audience locked in on you all. It was at that moment people knew Chimaria don't screw around and this was only the beginning.
Yeah I was watching that old alternative press performance(I think it was ap) dead inside and split I think. But yeah it was pretty blurry lol that old stuff was so influential to my playing and attack I love seeing it.
Wow I didn’t know Mark could play and sing without looking 🤘
Just got done watching it. Cool video! Reminds me of the late 90’s, recording shows.
The “FU” picture of Jim you put up right after what you said, dude… I laughed my balls off.
Haha 🤘🤣 Glad someone finally noticed!
I’ve got an M-307 that I’ve had since 2004 and can confirm the colour is dark blue metallic, good memory Rob! I actually bought it because I saw pictures of you guys playing the H and MH-307s (before the Viper baritones) and it was the closest I could find because they were out of production. ESPs were hard to get hold of in the UK back then so I had it shipped from Kansas
Awesome man! That's so rad you've got one!
I'd love to see more from that stack of vhs tapes that you got! I understand the recording/quality is bad but I'd still love to see it!
Right on Kyland!
I think I've spent more time listening to Implements of Destruction than any other song. Still a favourite.
I was at that Bluebird show in Denver Colorado!! haha! then I was at the show a block down at the Fillmore when you opened for Slipknot on the Jägermeister tour. Then I was at the show at the Gothic in Denver on the Roadrunner Road Rage Tour. awww good times
Good times indeed! Lots of great memories from Denver!
Love this video give us the looooorrrrre we need the lore
Please, get y'all back togheter and make Chimaira once more
Hi Rob!! I ve been out of town for a long time...I'm back and I got to see a lot of videos left behind! I start from this one...and in the beginning...about the video quality....it's not terrible quality...it's 2000's quality!! :') Jade: best song on POoE and this Jade/Implement revelation is a real great surprise!! and, here in Italy, I swear, is the name of one my "best girlfriend"....one of the true love of my life!! :)
Jade is one of my favorites. And man Five Pointe O is the first band I've ever saw love, they opened up for Mushroomhead back in the day.
Yeah they were cool!
I saw them here in stockholm back in the day, I thin it was with 36 crazyfists and possibly killswitch engage, but i'm not sure. They gave us beer on their tourbus after the gig and some girl stole the guitarplayers hat.
Love this kind of content, keep it coming Rob! \m/
wait is that a two pickup guitar ............... lol cool stuff rob !!!!
12:01 that's THE guy
I see the band name Hemlock on there, my old band UPAS played with them in Tri Cities Washington at avenue called The Rock Reactor. I thought seeing that name was too cool man. Just knowing even though I never played with you guys.... ive at least played with the same bands as you haha
Haha that's rad! Love the Hemlock guys! Good dudes and hard workers! 🤘
love it !
Love you guys ❤️💪🤘
I saw you guys I think in 2001 or 2002 on a tour with God Forbid at the El 'n' Gee in New London, Connecticut. Was pretty awesome man. Not to mention Ozzfest in Hartford, CT probably 2002 on the 2nd stage?
2003!
Doooood F*CK today's standards, that was fulfilling as F*CK. Thank you so much for sharing this. Miss yall every day. \m/
Monte Conner was talking shit when he said Pass Out was shit.
Hey Rob, I had just stumbled upon a few songs from the pass out of existence album that were re-edited. Is there any chance we will get the rest of the album re-edited?
I don't think so. Those three were just remixed as bonus material for the vinyl release.
@@RobArnoldWorld ah damn. Severed made me go crazy 20 years ago. I almost wrecked my car hearing the new mix. Hearing Rizzo remixed may cause a black hole. Thanks for the response, hope all is well.
@@MrManbearpig627 Haha drive safe! And I agree that Rizzo would have been a good candidate!🤘
Rob, what was the reason for mark playing guitar? Was there a specific reason for three guitars?
I remember the moment I first heard this song. I love it
Mark likes playing guitar too whenever he can. And he wrote this song and it has a great deal of significance to him. So I think he just wanted to because he wanted to. Simple as that I guess!
@@RobArnoldWorld that’s super cool, I love this song so much man
Did anyone record the shows at the edge of madness in Louisiana back in the day? I would love to see that as that was the first time I saw you guys
Hey Rob I have a completely random question so I'm glad I found an Implements video to ask it. I just got done listening to it for the 1000th time and that part at the very end when it's fading out with the DUN DUN DUN NA NA NA dissonance part, was that a call back to Let Go? I never noticed it before today that they're a little similar
PS - new Machine Head is killer, have you heard it yet?
Yeah dude it's definitely a nod to Let Go! Oh and have you seen this? ua-cam.com/video/OiDQmFi5daw/v-deo.html
Haven't heard the new MH yet!
It's freaking Implements dude, so why not show stuff like this? Now I'm going to go listen to Implements 👍
Rob, your guys’ show at the “Grog Shop” is on here. Love watching that shit, no matter how LoFi it is. I think it actually adds to the atmosphere of the POOE era.
By the way, kinda random what brand of cargo pants did you guys wear lol? I miss that big baggy style.
Haha they were probably JNCO's!
@@RobArnoldWorld Haha awesome! Thanks so much for the reply 👍
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh 🤘
Hey rob is chimaira going to do a mini reunion? Maybe a few one off shows?
There are no plans at the moment.
If it was August of 2002, Y'all would probably be still touring for "Pass Out Of Existence". Didn't y'all tour for the album for a little over a year? From August of 2001 to November of 2002?
Something like that!
I do like old footage, you can see energy besides the music. Panteras slaughtered at Nassau Colosseum Uniondale( the video on UA-cam) nothing compares. If you have material put it up, don’t matter if it’s UA-cam quality. It’s history. And at 5:00 sounds like no quarter lz live…
Drop G Holy smokes that's lower than Korn. Is it hard to hear yourself with 3 guitar players?🤘😀
I like you!!
👊😎
