Maxwell: (tired, quiet, exhausted sigh)
Laplace's head is very clean, not a single speck of dust. No thoughts.
These chapters were the start of me enjoying Laplace as a character. Her arc just kept getting better as the main story progressed.
Get ready for the (sometimes literal) hype train next week!
Reminder Syuen is the best kicking bag
I dont think Syuen has actually flat out gone against her word, she is a ruthless buisness woman but she does respect the representation of Missilis and it is that ruthlessness that got Missilis to the top
Afaik she‘s the new boss. Besides being an egomaniac she craves achievements to solidify her position.
This is the point where Syuen branches into a complex hateable character
It definitely shows she's capable of caring but it's so rare to see that side of her anyway
Say what you will about Suyen and Missilis. But Matis is probably my favorite squad. Even with Laplace being something of an idiot.
There is a story that Maxwell tells you about how Syuen got sick of Laplace smashing through her window during her "heroic entries", so she ask's Maxwell to make an unbreakable window. Laplace takes the unbreakable window rather personally, and get's into a fight with the thing. Suyen blames Maxwell, because OFC.
Still, the idea that Syuen has to deal with heavy weapons fire in her office on a regular basis bring a smile to my face. Who know, maybe we'll get lucky and she'll catch some shrapnel.
My favorite part by far of these chapters was seeing suyen finally feel helpless. Also, the introduction of Maiden and her power word ability 😊
13:42 Rapi was never in a daze to begin with because reasons. And asks the commander if he saw any thing which the commander replies he didnt and Rapi confirms. Both understanding each other.
Is not because reasons, Kotodama needs Nymph to work becaus it re programs the Nymph, Rapi ha sno nymph so it doesn't work with her.

one of my vaforite part in this two chapter is when laplace supress the coruption to try and commit self termination its just so cool to see and also one of my favorite part is the call(fight) betwen seuyen and ingrid. why? cause ingrid (or seuyen i kinda forgot) ask each other to a fkin fight holly sh-
animators please there has to be atleast one animators out there in the comunity please make this fight animated and make sure to add seuyen taking punches and kicks to the face with blood gushing from her eyes anyway good recap as always

Suyen hate is valid, but it kinda kills off the story immersion for me when the side-rants starts.
Maybe just me though.
