My guesses were Niki-30, US-34 UK-25, Aussie-28 and Canada-32. I guess I judged most of them as older than they are. But im 33 and they most of them look my age to me 🤷♀️
It's insane how hard it is to guess the age of someone between 15 and 30 (at least for me anyway). Like, 100 years ago, it was very easy to spot a 30-year-old, but today, thanks to healthier lifestyles, improved medicine and healthcare, as well as an endless sea of beauty products for both men and women, a lot of people between the ages of 15 and 30 look almost indistinguishable. 🤯
I would have guessed 36-37 at the least for the American based on the ripped jeans with unkempt hem combined with a school-teacher-esque shirt and scarf. The hairstyle also aged her. I could easily see mid-twenties for the lady from the UK. As for the Aussie, I’d guess 36-38 based on the foundation shade she used. The Canadian was true-to-age for me.

Oddly, I have people guessing I'm 10 to 15 younger than I am; however, I've seen people who look older who truly are more than 10 years younger. They have...aged... I don't understand why, but people look older far younger than I remember.
It probably doesn't help that I work retail but I've been asked so many times if I'm still in high school. I'm 26 and have graduated college, not just hs.

I don't know why people think that when they guess that you are in your 30s, that means that you are getting old. The 30s are not old at all. Most early-30s I meet appear to be in their mid to late twenties. In today's world, your 30s is the way your life begins. Don't panic if someone says that you look like you are in your 30s.

If I ever have to guess a person's age I always look very closely at their face to see how much wrinkles they have under the eyes. I also look at the nasolabial folds, most people younger than 30 don't have very visible nasolabial folds when they relax their face.
Yeah, I call B.S on this, the Asian lady was a just being Nice. Sometimes, despite also being self conscious about getting older, I still get a bit frustrated because people are prone to patronizing me. Considering how young my mother and grandmother looked well into their 40s, I can expect this to be the case for myself as well. I have been told to consider it a "blessing". I suppose in our society it still is one, despite the drawbacks. Now that I am going gray I wonder if, instead of looking old, I will just end up looking like an elf?

I turned 29 a few months ago too 😀 My first job was at a supermarket and i had a customer ask if it was my after school job. When I said no i'm at uni the lady replied ohhh so first year (I was in my 3rd or 4th). I found it amusing cause the customer had her high school aged kid with her so in my head I thought do i really look a similar age to your child... Thinking about it now I was only 20 or 21 and that age can look similar to 16-18 and being in a uniform i probably did still look like a high schooler. I guess i found it funny cause growing up i always had people think i was older than i was because i had my growth spurt early in life so that situation was the first time where i started getting the reverse.

Some people looked their age, some looked way older and some looked way younger and that's across all nationalities/ethnicities. The most shocking for me was when the duty manager pointed out a girl she'd id checked one day and asked me to guess her age. The girl was the same skin colour and age as me but she was dressed up (her outfit was a well put together look not a normal teenager's going partying look) so I thought she was mid 20s. I was shocked to hear she was only 18 like I was. Not even the popular girls at my high school looked that grown up. I think when you're young though it's easier to know ages based on your own age group but I think now as I'm nearing 30 I'd get stuck separating a late teen from an early 20s.
I don't care if i look older or younger than i am anymore, i've given up caring what people think of me, i don't need or want anything from anyone that brings my appearance into the equation, plus i don't have low self-esteem regarding my looks, that's why i don't care anymore.

From an asian perspective, I'd have thought they all look at least in their 30s. Now because they are Caucasian, and if I've to guess correctly, their actual age would be in their 20s based on the general observation we have of Caucasians' actual age vs looks. A bit sad, that the westerners were just English speakers. I would say with more Europeans, New Zealands, that area would've been also great or south america like Brazil, Agentina, African people. Now imagine the guys being all awkward in guessing each other's ages... Ageism is real even in the name of fun. By society standard, getting older for women always seem to be losing value as compared to during 'prime' age. Let's abolish ageism and embrace all ages, and be prouder/grateful to be alive longer.

I think most or some asians really ask someone's age when they first meet with people because we highly value honorifics. While western cultures do not typically ask someone's age in a conversation because they do not have the concept of honorifics or like the complete change of language when talking to older or senior people.
I think it's because we have a broader definition. True, in most western languages (if not all) the 'honorifics' doesn't change a way of talking completely, it is common to generally talk more polite and careful to strangers or elder people though (no matter the age and time, you will never talk in the same manner to your parents or your coworkers as you do with your friends), unless the situation is as such (for example when you are in a club or bar and everyone is drunk, you will talk and act very familiar with strangers of all age very quickly). Also, 'age' is a broader definition here. People with a difference of 3-4 years are still considered the same age, once adults. And the older one gets, the bigger the age difference is 'the same age'. I am, for example, 36 and I will talk as an equal to someone who is 30 as much as someone who is 40 years old. To someone who is 50 years old i will talk a bit more politely, due to age. But generally it's more of a question of position. In a company it's more important what position you have in the hierarchy, then how long you worked there, and THEN comes the age. And usually you can easily see the age more or less, if not from looks, then from speech, behaviour and attitude. So, asking someones age is not only unnecessary (cause it either doesn't matter or is easy enough to estimate roughly) but actually very often considered impolite, for very different reasons. Cultural differences.
The best way to really guess someone's age is plasticity and fat loss in their face, neck, and hands. These aren't really wrinkles or sagging necessarily

I think the age should cease to be so taboo. It's the only just thing in the world. We all get older at the same rate and it's ridiculous to be sad or ashamed of being older than someone else. I mean they're going to be your age inevitably and you were their age too at some point. As long as you're happy and living, that's all that matters.

A bit sad, that the westerners were just English speakers. I would say with more Europeans, New Zealands, that area would've been also great or south america like Brazil, Agentina, African people. So that we would've seen a few people from around the world 🤗. Anyway, it was interesting to see and yes it's always hard to guess someone's age. People told me that I would be in my 30s (men said that) and (women said), I would look like in my 10s, means around teenager, but I'm in my 20s 😂😂

By society standard, getting older for women always seem to be losing value as compared to during 'prime' age.

Chinese says what they want to say without thinking it's offensive to the other girl especially judging her look as mature.
I think most or some asians really ask someone's age when they first meet with people because we highly value honorifics. While western cultures do not typically ask someone's age in a conversation because they do not have the concept of honorifics or like the complete change of language when talking to older or senior people.
I think it's because we have a broader definition. True, in most western languages (if not all) the 'honorifics' doesn't change a way of talking completely, it is common to generally talk more polite and careful to strangers or elder people though (no matter the age and time, you will never talk in the same manner to your parents or your coworkers as you do with your friends), unless the situation is as such (for example when you are in a club or bar and everyone is drunk, you will talk and act very familiar with strangers of all age very quickly).
Also, 'age' is a broader definition here. People with a difference of 3-4 years are still considered the same age, once adults. And the older one gets, the bigger the age difference is 'the same age'. I am, for example, 36 and I will talk as an equal to someone who is 30 as much as someone who is 40 years old. To someone who is 50 years old i will talk a bit more politely, due to age. But generally it's more of a question of position. In a company it's more important what position you have in the hierarchy, then how long you worked there, and THEN comes the age. And usually you can easily see the age more or less, if not from looks, then from speech, behaviour and attitude.
So, asking someones age is not only unnecessary (cause it either doesn't matter or is easy enough to estimate roughly) but actually very often considered impolite, for very different reasons. Cultural differences.
I would guess first one about 30, second about 25-27 . third one about can be from 28 to 35. Fourth like 32-34
The best way to really guess someone's age is plasticity and fat loss in their face, neck, and hands. These aren't really wrinkles or sagging necessarily

Yeah I was prettly close too. Just the Aus and Canada a bit off. I knew US was 27-29, UK I guessed mid around 23-25, I thought AU was the oldest so I had put her at late 20s and CA I thought she was mid 20s so was a bit surprised that she was 27 going on 28. I'm 29 myself so could tell straight away that they were all mid-late 20s.

I think the age should cease to be so taboo. It's the only just thing in the world. We all get older at the same rate and it's ridiculous to be sad or ashamed of being older than someone else. I mean they're going to be your age inevitably and you were their age too at some point. As long as you're happy and living, that's all that matters.

I don’t get the reason why are you guys letting a Korean to pretend to be a Chinese in the video. Obviously the prononciation she pronounces is not a Chinese accent. When she said ring, she pronounced it “ling”, which is not what a Chinese person would say. Moreover in the middle of the video when she asked the person if she had dyed her hair before, there was a Korean word 염색 being said, which is clearly not a Chinese word. The part that I don’t understand is if the channel wants clickbait, Korea is also a part of Asia, why not letting the girl to have its own nationality being showed.
