Watch before you buy Triumph Speed 400 | Right Side Pulling Issue |Manufacturing Defect Not Resolved

- I'm Charith, this video is about #triumph #speed400. It's cleary seen the right side pulling issue is still present in my bike even today and it is not resolved even after the service people have checked it for 4 times and claiming that they have rectified the issue. I hope this video reaches Bajaj Auto and Triumph head. #rajeevbajaj take a look a this video please.
Of course the technicians or service advisors are generous in taking my request all the 4 times but failed to resolve the issue.

Even Suzuki V Strom SX 250 has this problem but it goes to the left.
Hello from Australia. Have YOU checked the wheel alignment yourself? Maybe trust your own judgement rather than depend on someone else. Also, other people are reporting the same issue in the comments, and there appears to be a couple of bulky looking cables on the left side of the bike, are they putting a tiny amount of pressure on the steering? Good luck with the bike.
Hey thanks for the message. Since it’s brand new I took it to the service center only. Yeah I agree that the cable might be putting some pressure on handle to steer right. I checked the rear wheel alignment and it looks good. Need to look at other areas. Hope it gets fixed.
@@CharithDrive Maybe look at swingarm and rear wheel bearings. The engine is decelerating when you are testing which puts different forces on them through the drive chain. Good luck anyway, I hope things work out because the bike looks good.

Correct. Triumph tho vachina kotha daridram, 400 series lo telusthundi. They did have good impression earlier and nothing has changed now.

Yes the first lot of speed 400 have manufacturing defect of wheel alignment ani fule gauge meter
I wonder if the brakes are dragging just a little bit. You could test it. Ride it for a long while without using the brakes. Then let the bike coast to a stop. Get off and quickly touch both disks and see if they are hot.

Im also facing same issue with scrambler 400, bike pulls to right side and service center guys ends up pulling stories after i showed to them.
All the first batch vehicles have the same problems
I had the same issue + wobbling above 60. Bt once i checked the wheel alignment it got solved. There was a 20g attached weight on alloy which was the main culprit

After removing the 20g weight is the leaning solved ???

Which wheel Alignment? Front or Rear, and which wheel had extra 20g attached, front or rear
Very poor service. Why a brand like Triumph do this. Please keep us posted with the update regarding this. Have booked scrambler, waiting for the first few slots to be sold and ill take the delivery.
Sure, will give you an update if I got something in this. I’m still wondering why couldn’t they fix this problems. To avoid this issue, better test ride and get one.

My triumph400 jerks while in low rpm. Got first service done yesterday. Reported it to Service guy but it wasn't fixed. Told the service guy to take a test ride who gave me stories. Then the mechanic took it for a ride and agreed with me.. but gave me a 15 min. Lecture on how ride by wire works and this is normal..
I have never faced this in any of my cars or previous bikes.
Its most noticeable at 2k-3k rpm in 2nd gear. Lesser in 3rd and so on.
I can also feel the jerking in top gears in low revs while going down hill.
I too noticed this but I haven’t complained about it thinking that is how the power delivery is.. ! I felt this more in 2nd gear lower rpm

same issue was found when I did the test ride of bike ,they said the bike has problem then they give us second test ride but still problem exist I think almost first few batches have this problem,also the bike has knocking for first few gears and that is the reason i cancel the bike gone to hunter 350
Yeah...I m worried that it is not fixed by service center. Usually they should be able to fix it. The knocking (Tak Tak ) sound is not from engine for me it's from front end of bike either suspension or coneset.but it for resolved.
I am also facing the same issue but in my bike it is at low speed, around 20-30 kmph but not above 50 kmph

I've same issue with my speed 400 in Bengaluru. Service guys aren't able to rectify it. Funnily the service guys are saying the tyre pressure is the culprit. I'n mot happy with my bike.

No loss nuts problem, no rattling of parts,
Really amazing experience and service interval is at 16k km or once a year but u have to change the air filter around 4k if in metro city and pollution which will cost u around 500₹ including labour at triumph service station

It wont be fixed ... I also have radiator fan not running below 5000 rpm issue... and my high temperature indicator turns on and engine gets seized for a moment... so I cant ride for 30 mins or more until it is cooled down...
yeah looks like issue is with frame and many ppl reporting it. radiator not working seems to be major issue.
honestly i really like the looks of this bike and want to get on however such issues are telling me to stay away from a brand new product. Do you think this issue is resolvable ? and have you incountered any other issue?
hey, i have seen similar issue with my dominar ug 400. i am not sure if they can fix it but it should not stop you from buying it as it has top notch quality is every other aspect in this segment.

Please stay away from Triumph they don’t have proper service center i had to visit the service center several times and yet my issues are not fixed. I am realising the headache after spending 3 lakhs on this motorcycle. Not worth it

Issue resolved or not? I'm also facing this issue since very first ride but I thought maybe I am not riding with right posture. I am supposed to raise this issue this weekend to the Triumph Service Centre.
Shall I book a bike ? Or wait it to get solved
@@milanjoshi6104 I think you should wait for sometime. Book from 2nd lot. Rest I'll revert once visit the Service Centre.

Experiencing the same with my Speed that I bought at the start of this month. Dissapointing that my 11 year old Apache 160 doesn't have this issue in the slightest and the Speed does.
I'll try approaching Khivraj Triumph in Bangalore and see if they'll do something, I don't have high hoes though.

@@CharithDrive they did some adjustments and it seems to be resolved to some extent. Definitely can say the pull wasn't as much when I've tested it a couple of times

No it's not resolved. They tried whatever they could but still the issue is seen
yes i have observed the shabby wiring thing agree that , but I doubt it will lead to Dynamic CG shift issues , looks like it is a design or manufacturing defect if not a simple wheel alignment issue

Hey you need to check odo reading it should be around 10-15kms, check for scratches.mostly there wont be any issue except this pulling issue. If this is manufacturing defect we can ignore it as of now because overall the package is awesome.

that's not something special... in optimal conditions you can do too around 120kmph to check wobble, coneset and pull issues
