First of all, I really love ballads. I prefer ballads over hip hops. The more lyrical, the easier I memorize it. Even more if it has classic instrument sound in it. And yes, I know this is an uncommon preference for someone my age.
That's why I'm so proud of Beast for being able to make such good music that THEY want, not what the MARKET want. They also have upbeat songs alright, such as "Highlight" and "Baby, It's You". But they chose ballads to be their pre-release and title track, because they thought these songs represent them the most, and for that, I think they need to be appreciated more.

But I always been my top preference in music doesn't matter if is Hispanic, English, middle eastern music or Kpop. And is kinda weird since I'm a dancer too lol. This is why beast together with vixx are my favorite groups, they always have made music that they liked and not what the market wants and they are not underrated. I totally agree with you.

when it comes to ballad i always come to either Beast or SHINee. I completely understand your preference. no hate to the third generation kpol groups but I hardly see any of them with a ballad song mv. it's sad, too much rap and hip-hop going around in the k world.

I was reading all of the comments and I thought I should share mine firstly this song is so beautiful it actually made me cry and honestly speaking I think there is a deeper meaning behind it than just some girl and to me it's about the member that left the group ~ Hyunseung ~ if any has not seen the new episode of weekly idol Junhyung he explains how he come up with the song saying how he tied his bath robe really tight but it still come lose even though he tied it really good it still came untied like a lover but if you pay close attention before it cuts he also say like the group we were suppose to stay together something along those lines and I think that's where " a tight knot comes untied in the end " even tho they put on a brace face and say that they are ok about ~ Hyunseung ~ I don't think so before debut you are on team for years upon going shedding tears sweat blood worries and for him to leave I think it cut them deeply
