I watched your Windows guide I'm going to share what I did to get it loaded because I hit a roadblock at first with the Ethernet connection but the second time it ran the payload perfectly. I bought my 10.01 PS4 from a pawn shop months ago and let it sit until this finally released. Thank you for sharing!

I very much appreciate your hard work. I've waited for this jb for two and a half years and I'm glad I was able to get it to work (did crash my PS4 like two times, but since then, it works on the first attempt every time). This is the first jb I'm able to get working and it would be awesome if you could make some tips and useful tools to install once we have the jb running. I'm very new to all this so any tips and tricks are welcome. Like the payload to disable updates, I had no idea it existed! Very useful. Anyways, thank you for your hard work and I hope to see more vids as they get this jb more mature and stable. So far I'm enjoying using my PS4 again!

To avoid having to connect and disconnect the physical equipment that we use to launch the exploit. Internet access could be given by changing the type of connection to a bridge. This is sure that in linux it can be done with script. Example: Linux computer with Internet, it has an additional Ehernet USB adapter connected to PS4, when connection is detected (ping) by that port it is automatically started exploit, when exploit is running it is changed to bridge mode to give Internet via cable.

I'm in 9.60 and i was planning on staying on that FW but hearing what you said it makes total sense, i'm going to update to 11.00 and hopefully there will be better methods to launch the GoldHen like the PS3 for exxample, that would be totally awesome. Thanks for sharing brother.

Should also mention that the JB works fine with PS4 Pro units as well and not just base PS4's. I had no issues updating my 9.60 PS4 Pro to 11.00 then running the JB.

I'm using my PS4 Pro on 9.00, with a R-Pi 3B+ I have GOLDHEN running in less than 45 seconds every single time, super stable not a single kernel panic since the update. Excellent job!!! Thanks for covering these related issues. I experienced a console freezing. And at a certain time I tought it was a brick. It wouldn't start. But after some minutes, it luckily did. Now, I think I'll stick to my OFW and wait for the jailbreak to get improved before trying to install it again.
Rest mode can be dangerous if power ran out or something happen to plug cable. I'm just waiting for a jailbreak that doesn't require a lan cable everytime that I turn on the console.
Someone's going to ask about the step you missed at around 13:00 prior to trying to access the web. If the console is connected PPPoe directly to a computer (including a Pi), you'll have to make a connection to the LAN instead, either via WiFi or removing the ethernet cable, connecting to a switch/router and going back to normal non-PPPoe settings.

0:47 Er.... I run the exploit just find with your GUI, through my home network. Local 16 port switch, with IPs given through my router's DHCP. Works fine for me at least.
I would estimate my success rate is likely around 75% or so.
so there is a chance that it would works even with a pi and a ps4 connected through a switch right? because i want to keep ethernet connection to download things from gamebato lol
@@christopherbolis2048 I would think so at least. I've run the jailbreak about 50 times since I posted my comment, just to test it out, and I tracked that it failed only 11 times out of those 50.
It seems to be fine through a switch, or at the very least, through some switches.
So you got DHCP instead of PPPoE? I don't understand these things but apparently my provider uses DHCP protocols and I don't know what to do
@@meganfox4769 I was referring to local IP address, not internet IP. My PS4 gets its local IP from DHCP from my modem, as does my PC.

This works 💯✅>Don't plug in the USB everytime you switch on your console just plug it once after the gold hen is loaded once don't plug the usb anymore open the pppwn gui 1.5 as usual without plug in the USB>Copy the pppwn Gui 1.5 to the desktop it will be fast on loading with just some few errors mine just 2/3 errors try it to me it works perfect 🎉

For me it's doesn't. I place all the files needed on my desktop but when the payload is about to be successful, my PS4 crash and shut down again and again and again. I don't know what to do...

When I load the game for the first time, it says my save data is corrupted. But I have tried reloading, erasing the saves, downloading different versions/ regions, etc. Is there a fix to get Elden Ring to start? I'm on 9.00 fw. Everything else works and plays great. Hopefully, you can help.

Please install "scapy" if your own isn't getting past "pinning to CPU...93%". It worked for me. Open your command prompt and type 'pip install scapy'. Make sure you install python and npcap first

I know for sure than an old AMD laptop (2008) with windows 10 has the processes so slow that the jailbreak fails pretty easily
If your usb has any other partitions, goldhen will not transfer properly. If your VPN is connected, the exploit will fail every time.

FYI - I have my extended M2 drive attached to the h/w when running the browser kernel access device. This is for 9.00, for this version, just need one USB slot.
I press run exploit on laptop, then wait 5 seconds before I press test connection on console normally get it on second or third attempt
After each fail I close program/reopen
Untick Internet connection on ps4 for 30 seconds then retick try again

The problem for me was that I had to share my actual PC internet (ethernet only, no wifi) to the PS4 ethernet and the USB that I was trying was too thick and it didn't plug in all the way. I'm on PS4 Slim 11.00 and I only used the goldhen.bin on the USB on exFAT and used the pppwnd stage2 11.00 and I always get it first try 👍
BELOW ARE NOT MY WORDS, I COPIED FROM REDDIT AND THIS WORKED PERFECT:
I did some trial and error testing and the following settings seem to allow rest mode without crash:
Ethernet cord unplugged, USB Devices removed, Rest Mode Hen Setting On, Server Hen Settings (FTP/Bin) Off, Connect to Internet Off, Game Closed
Make sure the CEC features on your TV (PS4 input) are set to off.
just had to wait couple of months when 11.00 flushed out like 9.00
So here is what I found out, place all JB files inside local disc C (ppwn and stage2bin), I have 2 out of 2 attempts like this, when I used it from the desktop it was like 1 out of 5. Could be a coincidence but it's worth trying. Also someone suggested unplugging and plugging back lan cable in case the loader fails.
I have a Ps4 stuck in 9.03 due a broken blue ray, i hope they made a bd updator soon, there is many people in the same situation

@@dwifrenzy rest mode, in any case it turns off just do the Ethernet and PPPwn GUI process again without inserting the USB drive, it automatically activates Goldhen.

It happens to me that, when I turn off the PS4, GoldHen is deleted and I have to connect the PS4 to the PC again. Is this normal? Is there a way to prevent this? Maybe I shouldn't turn off the PS4, but leave it in sleep mode?

Fresh install of windows will do the job. At time i wasnt able to run the JB though it shows DONE. i install VMware and install windows since i cant format may PC and the JB work perfectly fine.

5:07 Did I hear this right? Being able to push the exploit from a router with no additional hardware would be amazing. Really hope someone follows through with this and pushes a solution via DD-WRT/OpenWRT etc.

For those facing the issue of goldhen not loading do not insert anything with the usb at the same time like for example do not put your controller to charge do not know how this works but that is the only time it loaded correctly for me 😅

So this is a "hold your mouth just right" kind of hack. So many variables and things can work and then change. I've run this a half dozen times now, and it only worked perfectly the very first time. I had my old laptop install some Windows updates that broke the PPPwn app, it would start and say can't find an adapter with some other specifics. The PCAP was installed before the updates happened, so I went and ran the npcap-1.79.exe file again and reinstalled it. Closed out of PPPwn and reopened. Ran the exploit and it failed at the corrupted object, so clicked run exploit again and it worked. It's possible simple Windows updates can break things when the exploit depends on exactly how your PS4 interacts with the network connection on your computer.
Everything runs fine on first try every time for me. The thing is that 1.7.1 of the gui app is triggering windows defender so you need to turn it off for it to run.

So my friend gave me his old PS4 months ago. I just got it out of the basement and surprisingly it's on FW 9.00 I'm assuming I should stay on that version as it's a more polished jailbreak I'm assuming, but should I use the raspberry pi procedure you made a video for yesterday? before I jailbreak though I want to restore the system to factory settings to remove any data he had on it but it's been so long I don't remember if it "needs to connect to the internet" to do so. hopefully someone will reply and let me know.
Brother, since the release came out I have not been able to start it even once since sometimes it gives me an error and other times the console turns off, what do you recommend I do?
Mine worked the second time but it doesn't work anymore "I had to turn it off" and it turns off too, I'll wait for an update on that.
If you have a ps4 pro (and probably even if you have slim or fat) it's a rather common problem now and so far there's no solution. You just have to wait until someone comes up with anything.

I load the jailbreak on my 11.0 ps4 and installed games and everything but it crashed and the games disappeared the database rebuild itself automatically,i tried everything method to show up the games but it didn't work, any help?

This method depends on LAN. No LAN no jailbreak, unfortunately.
LAN cables are under 10 USD. Often you can find them free or extremely cheap in e-waste or just the trash. What is the issue?

So I have a question my ps4 is currently running 11.00 it was jail broken but I decided to remove the internal HDD and replace it with a 500GB can I update the 500 gb hdd with the latest version to play online/ use PSN? Then later use the 1TB hdd to jailbreak?
