Awesome stuff bud! And I hope this movie is better than Part 4.
Dear God it can't be worse than number 4!
@@AstonishingGlasgow LOL
Disney ruined star wars with the sequel and now we hope Disney don't ruin the indiana Jones saga with the 5 movie
Nice one Dave ,you've saved me a run to Glasgow for a nosey!!!
Hope you are good mate, need to get a catch up at some point.
Come to Glasgow anytime beautiful city. 😍and people
Did they treat the Glasgow people with any hot dogs, pretzels, soda , coffee .a couple of places which could've served lunch from the film team.what ye think guys
Nice video ! Pretty sure you'd love to get one of those classic cars ;)
Put my name down for the 1968 dodge charger.
The intricacy here is absolutely stunning. They've gone to every length possible to make it look super authentic and detailed. It makes me wonder how big of a sequence this will be in the movie, because this can't have been cheap. I know they did something similar for the area around Yale University during the filming of Crystal Skull, and that was for a chase sequence. This looks MUCH bigger than that. What on earth could it be? Surely it's more than just a parade for the astronauts.
They must be doing a foot chase or scenes with principal actors on the street to be adding so much detail into the shop fronts and cafes.
Great work. Was wondering where all the cars would be stored!. really this looks more and more promising as vast NYC set piece with all the details. The sheer expense for this is clear. So i imagine some very important NYC scenes, and with maybe a manhattan car chase ? Check out those 'Bullitt' cars. Forget the naysayers. I'll be at the cinema for this one.
excellent. thank you
If only the film crew picked Blythswood Square much earlier in respect to the budget for the props department! As I heard it once had a reputation for plenty of whips and chains if you catch my drift lol 😉 Mind you I'd never thought I'd ever imagine Hans Solo ever asking Pete the jakey for directions up the road from EasterHoose!
Hope the City Council makes LOADS of money from this, and uses it to improve infrastructure & services!
Lining their own back pockets probably.
So do I
The Pan Am storefront makes sense now
Which street is it?
St.Vincent street.
Parnie St was also used. They "green screened" each end and made it look like a huge New York streetscape in post production. The effect was good unlike the godawful movie.
1969 circa not required
Is the new indie about Noah's ark and an astronaut based on James Irwin.
Your guess is as good as mine. With Disney in charge it could be Indiana Jones and the flying Elephant!
Indy.
If that is New York City then I am MICKEY MOUSE
Maybe you are who knows 🙄
You want some cheese?
Ask your girlfriend minnie
I like this comment but I'm going to assume it was too clever for some. Surely its a reference to the butler at the castle in last crusade? "If you are Scottish lord then I am mickey mouse."
So, Glasgow was chosen because it looks like New York did 50 years ago? Not really a compliment, is it?
Glasgow was picked because it could be MADE to look like New York. It dosnt look like that every day.
It was Chicago in World War Z and it's been Gotham frequently.
Negative prick
@@saorsa5😂 yeah
How do you think historic looks of cities that atract visitters were preserved?... By tearing down stuff, I guess.
What aload of rubbish
