At least this part of restoring the Green Truck.

I just installed the LMC supplied 3 point seat belts in my 71 C10 and am happy with them.

The 1 screw for the armrest on both sides are stripped on mines . It was hell replacing the door locks thru the speaker hole

I absolutely love it. I have a 69 long bed (light blue) and I want to do this GM/Chevy green on it.
On the 3 point door mirrors, remember there is a backer plate for mounting. If it vibrates, add a longer plate under the backer to extend up and down to grab more door skin. Clean with a wire cone wheel, use 18 gauge steel, coat it with epoxy spray, let cure and use an epoxy to locate it and run screws in. Having a slightly flatter plate above & below the mirror mount, will capture the interior door skin better. Just keep the epoxy away from the screw holes.
On the seat belt, depending on how they mount, but use shims to get them either plumb or flat. All seat belts are designed with a weighted pendulum that swings with the cab or “B” pillar movement. Pulling at a normal to slow rate, hit the cab with your fist. They will lockup. If not perfectly flat or vertical, they will lockup too easy and during fast pull out. As a tech, I am working on broken vehicles. To confirm the customers concern, I always test drove the vehicle but never left the shop bay without a seat belt on.
Glove box lid is easy to remove. Buy wet/dry 1,000G, 2,000G, 3,000G and pre-soak the paper in water. Wet sand with small block until shiny spots of trash are gone. Since single stage epoxy or urethane type paint was used, it will not be that thick in “MILS”. If repainting, prep additional areas on the vehicle in advance of painting. Do yourself a favor and buy a spray-can clamp handle at the home improvement stores from rust oleum and you will never go back to one finger button spray! Remember to treat it like paint spec sheets. What? Well, clean with “Klean-Strip” Wipe All sold at part stores and some home improvement. Let dry, compressed air with lightly tack-rag (Open, hang & let dry a little) prior to using gently, then spray with light over-lapping coats, then while flat, spray wet paint on wet. Allowing for temperature as solvents evaporate and resins cross-link to create a hard durable surface.
Paint becomes lighter in color over time as “UV Rays” fade paint and fabric coloring!
Weather strip rubbers last longer if coated with a silicone paste grease sold in cans. I have 5 at the ready for everything rubber. It is sold by “Wuurth” a German company relabeled for the US market. Other brands can be found! In the owners manual tell you to brush-on a continuous bead around the rubber, wipe into the rubber with a gloved hand, wipe off excess. This hydrates the rubber keeping it supple and if done in the spring and late fall, if it freezes where you live, this keeps the doors from sticking closed or iced! Other than that, I got nothing! lol. Cert Auto ASE Master tech since 1978, retired. Best of luck!

I'm sure that'll be a feature in upcoming videos. But it has the original 350 that has been rebuilt once due to an overheat shortly after my mom bought it. Still runs great.
I love it! You've done a BANG up job so far. I've got a 1/2 ton 1972 Chevy truck okra white okra color scheme LWB with tilt telescope column and 3/4 ton overload leaf springs that came as an option making it what's called a HEAVY HALF... it was an old farm truck with saddle tanks and GO FAST A/C that I drove for most of my 25 years active duty... now I'm giving her some love in the form a frame up restoration including a new modern drive line... 5.3L EFI and 4L60 with air. I'm curious though why you didn't relocate the fuel tank when doing your restoration.. you could have maintained the LOOK of a tank in the cab but for safety reasons moved it to the rear between the frame rails.
Thanks for the encouragement. The fuel tank may still get relocated at some point, I keeping swinging back and forth on that. I let it be for now as this was supposed to just be a new seat and carpet...well, we see how quickly that escalated. 🙂

Not happy with my LMC mirror it's lose, looking for seat belts. Also not happy with my LMC seat belts your truck is looking nice.
Yeah, they have a lot of hard to find stuff, but the quality is hit or miss. Definitely nothing rubber as they use cheap imported parts. I've been having better luck with USA 1 Industries overall. But they have their cons as well. Thanks for the compliment! It's nice to have a least the interior done. :)
Where did you get the USB port for the dash? And did you have to drill out the hole. I found one but is too big and I have repainted the dash and dont like the idea of drilling and messing up the paint. Looks good
It was an option with the stereo from Retro Sound. It fits prefect, just needed to tighten the clips up on the back.
Link or part number for seat cover?
Sorry for the delayed reply. I went to get one or the other for you and couldn't find either. Apparently USA1 Industries has narrowed down to only carrying parts for 73-87 square bodies. Bummer, they had good quality parts for these. ☹
