I like the fact that your videos are more about exploring in general but have the 4wd to tackle any off-roading as well. I was going to do flinders ranges and Oodnadatta track this year but I’m in Victoria.............say no more!! 😅 hopefully next year. Cheers!
As much as I LOVE my 4x4, it is a means to enjoying what we both love the most - exploring. Aus has so much to offer both on and off-road. I did that Flinders-Oodnadatta track a few years back. Loved it. Our second trip was Coober Pedy-William Creek-Adelaide (on the Oodnadatta track). Highly recommend spending at least day at Coward Springs. Video in the Oodnadatta playlist. I am sure next year you will be travelling again. Hang in there :)
Duncan Udawatta yep have seen your videos already on flinders ranges and oodnadatta and already have a bit of a plan myself after watching your trips. 👍
I think it is normally pronounced like "Lock eel" . Great video. When I filmed it from about 30metres with my drone it lost all its colour compared with ground level shots.
Hi Duncan you missed a very important bit of the history of salt mining at the lake .The remains of one of the few monorails in Australia also the remains of early conveyor system if interested can send photos.
Hi Rob. Thanks so much for that. Please do send some pictures ( info@overland-journals.com) and if you dont mind can I share them in another video? After a trip I usually do a trip report sharing information with others. I will give credit to you. This is why I love doing this and building a community. I get to learn a lot too.
Nicely done mate... working my way through your trip vids.

Hi Terry. The direction of light also plays a role in the colours I felt.
