"Distressed but not panic stricken" I try not to distress my paint jobs because the gang fight look isn't pretty 🤣Thank you for a another really good update, loved it.

Soo glad that you are back in action!!! Not fun being sick!!! Love those sock stretchers!! I have several antique ones and Trevor did a fantastic job!! Love the size!! Take care of yourself!! See you next time!! Happy Stitching!!! 😊❤❤❤ Barbara S.
Michelle, I’m so glad you’re on the mend! Love your new glasses. I can’t wait to see how you finish that Lola Crow stitch along piece. It’s fabulous on your fabric choice. That Wales flag is amazing! The display case sounds perfect. Stay classy. Happy stitching.
So glad you’re feeling better Michelle and getting the rest you need. I can’t wait to see the cabinet finished. My parents sold antiques for a while and I used to help my dad refinish furniture. It was so much fun. Even after all these years I will see a piece in an antique mall and think how nice it would be if refurbished. It’s tempting but my refinishing days are over. I’m still in Northern Virginia with my son. He’s found an apartment in DC and I’m staying until after he moves in mid-May. We’re shopping for furniture and stuff he’ll need. That is fun. But it’s hard to be away from home for so long. There’s no good place to stitch in his little apt. And the halo lamp I bought has a much smaller surface area than my magnifier at home. Frustrating. Missing my stitching a lot! I also forgot how much I don’t miss the humidity of the east coast. Even though it hasn’t been hot here yet the humidity is much higher than in Oregon. It can be in the sixties and I still sweat. Ugh. Even though I’d love to live closer to my boy and my sisters I don’t think moving back here is in the cards. Ooh. I don’t have stitching to talk about but the big news from Ashland was a cougar attack down the street from where we live. The poor thing attacked a cat on a leash during the day and ultimately was shot and killed. And the poor cat didn’t survive. The cougar was definitely not well. Here’s a link to the article in our local news. I thought you might find it interesting. ashland.news/authorities-ashland-cougar-was-a-textbook-case-for-lethal-removal/ So, a few weeks back I walked to a party at a friend’s house up the hill. I knew I’d have to walk home in the dark but didn’t think anything of it. As I was walking home I thought about how vulnerable I’d be if someone tried to attack me since I can’t really run or get away fast anymore. But I was thinking about people not animals. I’m such a city girl it did not even occur to me that a cougar was in the neighborhood. The next day we went for a walk up the hill and a sign was posted saying there had been a cougar sighting two days before. So…I guess it was this guy. Ashland is a buffet for cougars, bobcats, bears. We have so many deer and domestic animals. And, of course, we people have taken over wild animal’s territories so these things are inevitable. It doesn’t happen often but when it does the outcome is never good for the animal. Anyway…thanks for entertaining me this morning. I love your videos which are always interesting and full of wonderful things. Have a great week❤️
Ohhh, I forgot to thank you for the little flower pattern !! I Love it! Thinking of doing on high count linen and making it a tiny pillow to add to my others!!.Planning on checking out the etsy shop!! Thanks again for everything!!!! 😊❤❤❤ Barbara S.
Great story about your cabinet. My sister who is also a fan says that every time you go shopping we have to as well. Thank you for flossing our tubes! I watch you before church!
Hi Michelle, my granddaughter from Texas is getting a Master's degree in Wales this year, I believe she is at the University of South Wales. I taught her to cross stitch last summer before she left for the UK, She is really enjoying cross stitch and it has kept her from being too homesick! I believe she would love to have the pattern for the Wales flag that you are doing. Could you please let me know where she could find it. thank you! Oh and I love your videos!
Glad you are feeling better, rest up all you can! Your glass fronted bookcase will be wonderful! Laura Ashley sold a set a while back (around £600 I think they were at the time ) They were mahogany coloured, but ‘ebonised’ is my fave furniture, which it sounds like yours will be. 🥰
"Things go wrong when I do a lot of counting."
