In this video, Sanatan Dharma is portrayed as a monolithic religion, which is an inaccurate comparison. One of the errors made is the claim that the Vedas are the only sacred scriptures. However, while the Arya Samaj considers the Vedas and Upanishads sacred, Vaishnavas (devotees of Vishnu) revere the Bhagavad Gita. Similarly, the video mentions Varanasi as the sacred place of worship, which is primarily significant for Shaivites, whereas for Vaishnavas, Ayodhya or Mathura holds greater importance. The beauty of Sanatan Dharma lies in its diversity-within a single family, one person may worship Shiva, another Vishnu, and another Shakti, yet they all coexist harmoniously. Therefore, it’s not meaningful to draw direct comparisons between religions. It’s also important to note that while mosques and churches are places of prayer and gathering, a mandir is considered the home of the deity.
5:27 Manu is the first man according to Hinduism. And he is the one whom the first avatar of Vishnu, Matsya, half fish half human, helps out of the flood on earth.
18:46 he fuc*** up !! Vidyadhari are abstracts of knowledge and purity that interpret Vedas that originate from the mouth of Brahma at the beginning of each cycle of every universe .
Swarga is not heaven. There's no heaven or hell in Santana Dharma. Everything is depends upon karma . In each of these realms are different deities and beings 'living out their karmic trajectories". There are 14 lokas seven higher ones (Vyahrtis) and seven lower ones (Pātālas), viz. bhu, bhuvas, svar, mahas, janas, tapas, and satya above and atala, vitala, sutala, rasātala, talātala, mahātala, pātāla and naraka at the bottom.

Yes, most of what u said is true, except for the milk part. In Sanatana Dharma one of the reasons we worship cow is due to the nutrition value of its milk. Milk is integrated to the lives of human. The milk you r talking about is industrialized milk. Please specify and don't mix veganism with Hinduism. Bcoz i believe vegans are crazy and they are doing more harm than good.
Hinduism in India is different from place to place. People from different demographics and climatic zones have different food habits. For example, the north-eastern part of India is relatively a colder region and anciently, people have been consuming alcohol and meat to keep their bodies warm. When Hinduism was adopted in these regions, it assimilated with the cultural practices and eating habits of different tribes. In today's time, we Ahom Hindus offer duck meat and rice beer to the gods and ancestors when we perform rituals for a dead person and on death anniversaries. Pork meat is an important part of our cuisine. So there is not one way of practicing Hinduism; every time a tribe or community has adopted Hinduism, they have integrated their own cultural identities and rituals into it.
This is untrue. Vaishnavas usually are vegetarian however shaktyas ( people who worship shakti) usually from the east and north eastern part of India are heavily non vegetarian and the goddess Shakti and her forms partakes in non vegetarian food. They are offered to the goddess during puja and is considered sacred. Please do not be bound by your narrow read of the sanatana dharma.
It's not reasonable to compare Hinduism with Islam because both the things are different. Hinduism is not even a religion so it's a comparison of Tomato to Potato.
@@sks108but we're force comparing Ravan to Satan here. If you do this you'll also have to call vibhishan evil which isn't true. Ravan was an evil king not the king of evil big difference. Bro, there's a beerbiceps podcast with Vinay Varanasi on 10 avatars of Vishnu. The 10 avatars of Vishnu are beautifully explained by Vinay Varanasi. It's worth watching. You will acquire a lot of knowledge from this. It's truly amazing.
The one with multiple heads you are referring is Ravan. But many consider he has 10 traits and not 10 heads. But figuratively it is depicted as 10 heads. Edit: Figuratively/Metaphorically
@@i.kaushik_san no it's not, his literal name was "dashgreev" and "dhashanan" which literally means 10 heads first of all if its was just metaphor then they should also use terms related to that metaphor which like "dhasagun" or something which represents traits or intellect but there was none like those ,only it was it's head and he also had 20 arms first of all you should stop thinking that Ravan's anatomy and morphology will be like normal humans he had fought with multiple ancestors of lord Ram and he had live quit a long time and for your kind information Ravan also had a elder brother who had thousand heads and he was slayed by mata sita so if something goes out of way of your then research don't pre assume and state false narrative of your own
Makka was a Lord shiva temple before Muslims destroyed and Rebuild it into a Kabba. The black stone you are talking bout is a shivling . We have all heard about theories that Kabba was a shivling and Mecca was a Shiva temple called Makkeshwar Mahadev. Most people laugh it off, Mostly Muslims. I have recently started reading about Islam and came across facts which made me believe that it indeed most certainly was. We all know that Islam started in 7th century . Before that the arabic peninsula had polytheists Pagans (of many tribes ) , Jews and Christians. Even Hindus from India would travel via Arabic peninsula towards Europe for trade. That was the route. Mecca was in fact a pagan temple with 360 idols placed in a circle around a big black monolith, now known as the kabba. The Hajj (the annual pilgrimage which Muslims undertake ), existed even before Islam came into existence. Pagans from all over the world would come over and pray there, annually and all the time. Jam Jam, from where all the Muslims get holy water is not a river , it is a well in that area . It was an artificially dug well in that area . The uncle of Prophet Muhammed was in fact the caretaker of Mecca, he, I guess belonged to the Quraysh tribe, the same as Muhammed. Even recorded history and texts from that era state that a Big carved black snake would guard over the big black obelisk. Lost of jewels, rubies, diamonds, pearls were buried there . What really got me interested was the prayer ritual. When I started studying islam, i found out that the method to pray in mecca is very different from all other mosques. Men MAY shave their heads , MAY wear 2 piece UNSTITCHED white(or off white) garments , with the upper garment wrapped over one shoulder and under the other shoulder . THIS SHOOK ME. Shaving head, Wearing 2 piece UNSTICHED garments with the upper garment wrapped over one shoulder and under the other shoulder. Why unstiched white /off shote 2 pieve garments ? Cleaning hand , feet with water before entering the place. Taking 7 rounds of a black obelisk stone (which was being guarded by a big black snake) . Muslims have changed it to anticlockwise, but prior to take over of Mecca by Prophet Mohammed , it was clockwise. It may be noted that it is 7 circles , not 5, not 8 not 10 , 7 . ALL RITUALS of a shiva temple . DITTO . Men and women pray together in Mecca , which does not happen anywhere else . All the rituals which are followed today in mecca are same as what used to be followed prior to Islam (apart form the clockwise changed to anti clockwise) . So it is quite a possibility that Mecca was a shiva temple. Hindus had been trading till Europe during the times of Romans, Alexander. The route had to be via sea , westwards and Arabic peninsula would be the obvious path. It is quite a possibility that Hindus , after finding a natural water sourse at JAM JAM , built that Shiva temple and annual pilgrimage would take place . There is no record of which deities were worshipped there or what were the idols which were broken . Even kabba was broken but it could not be fully destroyed , so it was covered . Later on the Kabba was broken and stolen and later put back together . The big black snake guarding a big black obelisk is also a big pointer . It may be noted that Mecca was overtaken and captured by Prophet Muhammed some 13-14 years aftre islam started . Till 13-14 years aftre islam came inot existence , Mecca , which was the biggest religious structure in that area and the wealthiest one , was being worshipped as a non islamic , idol-worshipping temple. Vedic Past of Pre-Islamic Arabia and its influence. Islaam always try to destroyed Hindusism but couldn't succeed . And they still trying 😅...
What a load of bull. Why are you so affected by Islam? These are religions, not politics. If you actually took your religion seriously you wouldn’t be writing all of this. Why not just focus on your religion properly and we can focus on ours? Stop trying to make it some sort of fight. We don’t care if other people don’t like our way of life or feel threatened by it. Our only goal is to get close to our Creator in this life and die as Muslims so we can go to a way better place in the hereafter.
Megasthenes a Greek traveler after visiting India and spending years in India wrote that there are "no slaves in India". Comparing a dharmic warrior Baji Rao with khalid bin walid who r@ped women in front of male members of a family then k!lled males in front of their women and then made women their sex slaves and sold them to fellow followers shows the level of this video. I can not just say it is simplistic any more. its is insulting.
13:23 it's wrong there's no holy city. In Sanatan Dharma Everything and Every being is divine. Whole Universe is divine. It's Kshetram which has significance because of its energy.
Varanasi is a really beautiful city located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It's disappointing that although the city is popular among Hindus, it remains mostly dirty after 78 years of independence.
in hinduism there are not many gods there are 1 god who multiply him in many forms for example vishnu, shiva, ram and others they are not different yes there names and look are different but they are 1 in different forms ( i don't know multiply is perfect word or not and my english is not so good i hope you understand)
All the early Mathematics came from India. The Persians learned it from the Indians and sometimes used it as it is and sometimes developed it and used it themselves. Europe got it from the Persians or Middle East.
To your question at 22:20, we drink the milk of cows. Before that we drink the milk of our mother. We do not kill our mother. Hope you get the analogy. That being said, this video is a dis-service to Hinduism.
You have no idea what you are comparing. Pls dont post these type of idotic videos. You are comparing hell and Heaven at the same time. Hindu religion is the greatest and oldest religion.
Reading mathematics books from India and then building up on it without crediting the source does not make anyone a great mathematician. Shows level of research of the original video.
Manu was not the first man on earth, According to hinduism, men are created in the process of evolution. While manu is the first man of this Mahayuga(consists 4 yugas). So he was came from last mahayuga. Thats why he considered as first man of this mahayuga.
Yes bro you are right the 10 heads of Ravan depict 10 human natures Natures like lust greed anger jealousy attachment etc. and the main source of these 10 human natures is the ego or our Identity. Similarly lord Ram Sita lord Hanuman all shows something it is the mean philosophy of Ramayana.
One created by years of scientific research and one in a day.. one tells about the entire humanity and entire cosmos and the other tells about a particular religion.. these are just two differences from many. There was and will be only one knowledge and that is Vedas. The book of the entire universe. You can read any holy book but can not compare anything with the Vedas. And Vedas are not religious book.
Vedas should be considered as educational books. One tells about science, while other tells about politics. These should be the knowledge learnt and taught in school.
And we burn bodies after we die because for our soul to pass on to the next life we need to dissolve this body also into 5 elements because soul and body combined gives you consciousness and life that you feel. When you bury someone your soul won't pass on to the next life unless you're karma was really good. If not than congratulations you're just another soul in the cemetery waiting for your body to dissolve naturally into 5 elements. Our body is like a loan that our soul took from this universe and you can't go on without paying it back to this universe. Since we're not able to do it after dying, our closed ones do it for us.
Cremation is followed by Hinduism because we want the deceased to disidentify with their body and its karmic content and be at peace more easily, not because of diseases.

19:35 The Ikshwaku dynasty, renowned for its just rulers, flourished approximately 6,000 years ago. Unlike the self-serving monarchs of today, these kings were dedicated to the welfare of their people. They upheld Dharma, the path of righteousness, and ensured the prosperity of their subjects, even at personal cost. Such was their commitment to justice that even their own family members were held accountable for their actions. Among the most celebrated kings of this dynasty was Shri Ram, a brave, humble, and virtuous ruler of Ayodhya. Despite a cruel conspiracy that forced him into exile, Ram remained steadfast in his adherence to Dharma. He accepted his fate with grace and continued to serve his people from the depths of the Dhandakaranya forest. His brother Bharat, equally noble and just, refused to accept the throne that was unjustly bestowed upon him. Instead, he journeyed to the forest to offer the kingdom to Ram, who, out of respect for his father, declined. Bharat, recognizing Ram's rightful claim, ruled as a regent, placing Ram's sandals on the throne as a symbol of his loyalty. Ram's unwavering devotion to Dharma was tested when his wife, Sita, was abducted by the evil King Ravana. Despite facing immense hardship and loss, Ram remained resolute in his pursuit of justice. He conquered Ravana's kingdom of Lanka, rescued Sita, and returned to Ayodhya as a hero. Even after his victory, Ram performed a year of penance to atone for his own actions. Our history is rich with tales of such noble figures, yet many of these stories have been lost or misunderstood. King Ram stands as a shining example of a leader who ruled not by force but by the power of righteousness. His legacy continues to inspire and uplift generations to come and was the greatest king to have walked this earth. Please read about ramayana written by maharishi Valmiki to know more.
Fun fact indonesia king name is Sukarno comes from karan in Mahabharat. Also in Indonesia they have ancient Hindu temples like Candi Prambanan - the largest Hindu temple 😂😂
Sanatan itself means eternal, so Sanatan Dharma has no founder, no end, it's eternal. There is a reason why every native civilization vanished, but we the oldest civilization on earth still standing. Our resilience is our strength.
Al kwazmi is given credit by western world because he was the guy who repackaged it and sold it to the english during the times when europe did not know about the existence of india (or we can say a trade router to india). Algebra was initially discovered and developed by Brahmagupta in 7th century later more concepts were added it it by Aryabhatta and Bhaskara II. Arabs were very smart and used to do it with every thing like ornaments, utensils, textile, spices. They used to buy them from india at cheap prices and used to resell it to europe at very high prices. It was until english understood their games and sent Vaco Da Gama to find a route to india so that they can directly trade with india.
I'll give a huge detailed answer. so while no text particularly tells us why we shouldn't eat beef, the logic isn't hard to arrive at. Hindus started cultivation and farming millennia ago and they more they advanced in farming, the more they moved away from hunting and there came a time, Hindus didn't have to kill animals to feed themselves, hence there's such an emphasis on vegetarianism in Hinduism to stop unnecessary cruelty on animals. 1. since farming was the backbone of societies back then, cow milk was the best protein source available. Besides bulls used to plow the fields and helped in transport the yield from the fields. Cow dung was used to make fertilizers and as fuel to burn, basically cows were the most essential for a farmer and they became a member of farmer's family. 2. Since cows feed us with their milk, cows are treated like our 2nd mother in Hinduism. 3. Shri Krishna himself was a cowboy and he loved cows and cows loved him. Everytime you see a pic of Krishna, you'll almost always see cows with him in the pic. So in Hinduism, it is generally discouraged to eat meat of any animal and it's very much discouraged (essentially banned but in Hinduism there are no commanding authority) to eat beef. tbh imo, the first unofficial rule of being called a Hindu is to not consume beef.
Everything said for Hindu side is so wrong. Pujaris are differentlynot the religious leaders. Vedic gurus are. Vedas are also not only one book. Naraka is where souls go for purification , it’s not always brutal. Also, there were some good RAKSHASA and bad devas. Vidyadhari literally translates to the enlightens ones. The whole comparison is so stupid. 😊
well, the societal reason why beef is prohibited is cause india is an agrarian society for millenias...it gives us milk, manure, helps in agriculture which gives us food, so we revere it as our 2nd mother...and religiously we believe all the gods reside in the cow....making it sacred

Ganga is a river which means it flows from the Himalayan mountain ranges. It is in its purest form till it hits the plains. You can drink ganga water cuz it’s as pure as pure gets when it flows downhill. Just don’t drink it from beyond the plains as India is still developing and our industrial drainage gets dumped into rivers when the river gets through the cities. 😂
To know the might and divinity of Mariyada Purushottam Ram , people will have to set aside their inherent ignorance towards the Sanatan Dharm. If they want to learn, there are plenty of translated texts, even youtube videos. But they won't do that, they have an inherent malice instilled into them. Ashok was a just an expansionist king, and nothing more.

There was a university in India called nalanda University, and it was worlds biggest university. Some mughal emperor burned it down because they didn't have quran in that University. And the university burned for 3 to 6 months. That's how much knowledge of the world we had. 3000 years is the oldest written documents they talk about but that university had documents probably 10000 or more years old. 90% of worlds history was burned and it was and still is a big loss for the world. Do anything bad to India its a loss to the world in someway that should be a warning to foreigners to just let us live in peace, cuz we live for the good of the world not just india✌️.
No offense but I couldn't watch more than 8 minutes as it's so childish 😊 This is the problem with most western people that they look at Hinduism through abhramic lens. You won't get even 1% of it if you can't study Hinduism in isolation because its a world apart.
There is a concept of Apsara (women in heaven) . But there not promised to humans after death instead Apsara are wife or companion of lords living in heaven .
This video(the original one) is wierd and draws wierd parallels between the two 'religions', if hinduism can even be called that and makes pretty much no sense. It gets a lot of facts wrong as well.
The comparison is a huge mess. - Ravana isn't king of the evil. - "Bhoota" isn't necessarily a supernatural being. For example, "Pancha Bhoota" means the five elements - air, water, fire, earth and space (akasha). - Garuda isn't the only legendary creature. There's Airavata and many others. - Ashoka isn't the greatest king. "Bharata", the king after whom India is called "Bharat", was the greatest ruler. Even wrote the "Natyashastra" which is a phenomenal work! You might even include "Krishna" and "Rama" as the greatest rulers. - Yoga, being how vast it is, being associated only with meditation is kinda criminal. Refer Ashtanga Yoga by Patanjali, Bhakti yoga-Jnana Yoga-Karma Yoga present in Bhagavad Gita given out by Lord Krishna, other than what was initially passed down by Shiva (Adi Yogi) to the Sapta Rishis (seven sages). Yoga in its entirety is everything about the existence. It is just one Darshana out of the six Darshanas of Sanatana Dharma. The other five being - Nyaya, Samkhya, Mimamsa, Vaisheshika and Vedanta. - Charity (Dana) isn't pronounced "Day-na", it is "Daa-na" ( "Daa" is phonetically similar to "th" in the word "that"). There's more to Dana than just charity. Honestly though, there's no "greatest military leader" or "greatest ruler". It is quite subjective. "Skanda", the god of war can't be forgotten. Also, "Hinduism" is a recent invention. We never called ourselves Hindus before that name was "bestowed" upon us (pun intended). Then what are we? We're just the descendants of an ancient civilization with a wide variety of beliefs, practices and whatnot! Calling it a religion is easy but, looking at the diversity - Aghoras, Naga Sadhus, Siddhas and different interpretations like "Advaita", "Dvaita", "Vishista Advaita" etc, we'd only be Abrahamizing it by calling it a religion. Looking at it without the Abrahamic lens, it blossoms into something else.
14:35 Diwali (actually "Deepawali") is the festival of lights. It celebrates the return of prince Rama to his kingdom Ayodhya with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman, from 14 years of exile. The people lit the city with oil lamps on his return. They celebrated the victory of Rama over 10-headed Ravana, who had abducted his wife Sita. It signifies victory of good over evil. It signifies victory of light over darkness. It signifies giving away all the vices and demons inside us and start the new year (Diwali marks new year in Hinduism) with positive energy. On this day we light lamps, fireworks, and not even a single corner is left unlit. Light, light everywhere. ♥️
In Hindu religion we have goddesses. We have taught to respect every woman. We have a beautiful tradition called Raksha Bandhan. A bond between brother and sister. Whereas in Islam woman are considered as sex slaves. You can read that in Quran. No respect towards woman. There is no freedom for woman. And if someone claiming the father of algebra was wrong. Greeks have. Chinese have, Aryabhatta have created the algebraic formulas before the Islamic scholar k. One who translate the work is not the inventor.

@OriginalPagan Mandirs were also used as an educational centre and to get the entry to the study centre on has to win a debate with a debater of the mandir(examples: Taxila and Nalanda). Every region had temples and the group (students) were the people who maintained the mandir and locals provided the raw materials and locals helped to build the mandir also to get their children educated and learned and as a community centre.
Ravana is king of evil? Thats so grossly incorrect. There is no such absolute in Hinduism. He was a king who was accomplished and wise but his pride was his downfall. The video is mixing history with religion even when they are independent.
According to Linguistic science Rigveda is atleast 3500 years old. Before that it passed through oral. tradition.so we dont know the exact starting point. Dating of Rigved according to some western scholars are follows Max Müller: "the hymns of the Rig-Veda are said to date from 1500 B.C." The EIEC (s.v. Indo-Iranian languages, p. 306) gives 1500-1000 BCE. Flood and Witzel both mention c. 1500-1200 ВСЕ. Anthony mentions c. 1500-1300 ВСЕ. Thomas Oberlies (Die Religion des Rgveda, 1998, p. 158) based on 'cumulative evidence' sets a wide range of 1700-1100 BCE. Oberlies 1998, p. 155 gives an estimate of 1100 BCE for the youngest hymns in book 10. Witzel 1995, p. 4 mentions c. 1500-1200 ВСЕ. According to Witzel 1997, p. 263, the whole Rig Vedic period may have lasted from c. 1900 BCE to c. 1200 BCE

In this video, Sanatan Dharma is portrayed as a monolithic religion, which is an inaccurate comparison. One of the errors made is the claim that the Vedas are the only sacred scriptures.

Most people laugh it off,
Mostly Muslims.
Shaving head,
Wearing 2 piece UNSTICHED garments with the upper garment wrapped over one shoulder and under the other shoulder.

Islaam always try to destroyed Hindusism but couldn't succeed .

The Ikshwaku dynasty, renowned for its just rulers, flourished approximately 6,000 years ago.

So much misinformed, I felt it was deliberate. Half knowledge is much more dangerous
Muslims No Hinduizm.sex slave.
we just had the raksha bandhan❤
They didn't mention when malecha came
13:58 Diwali is also known as Narak chaturdashi. It is no holiday.
Bro if you want to understand festivals in Santana Dharma you have to understand astronomy every festival is connected to astronomy and planetary motions.
7:10 You can go to Shri Swaminarayan Temple, Neasden, London. It's the largest hindu temple in UK. You can also make a vlog and upload it on the channel.
I didn't know Mango was so Important in Hinduism, never heard about it in my life, what we see very commonly during ceremonies is betel-leaves, betel nut, sindoor(vermillion), certain grains, rice etc.
3:49 it's ravana not shiva🙏🏻
This video is not good as the main goal of this video was to equate Sanatan Dharma to Islam.
19:45 Its wierd it says Ashoka is the greatest hindu ruler when he became a buddhist and is primarily known for spreading Buddhism globally.
I dont know about islam but lot of miss-info Is there in the video about sanatana dharma, this video did not even research superfecial level. he just picked some western authered bookon hinduism who tried to uderstand hinduism through western or abrahamic lense or mind and slapped it on the video and he also has lot of islam info kind-ish wrong.
So much mis-information. Comparison doesn't even make any sense.
Mandir looks older because they were present before the dawn of islam
Ye fr
Not fastest growing but fastest breeding religion cz whoever comprehend the religion has leave it know abt exmuslim movement tsunami?
According to Linguistic science Rigveda is atleast 3500 years old. Before that it passed through oral. tradition.so we dont know the exact starting point. Dating of Rigved according to some western scholars are follows
Max Müller: "the hymns of the Rig-Veda are said to date from 1500 B.C."
The EIEC (s.v. Indo-Iranian languages, p. 306) gives 1500-1000 BCE. Flood and Witzel both
mention c. 1500-1200 ВСЕ.
Anthony mentions c. 1500-1300 ВСЕ. Thomas Oberlies (Die Religion des Rgveda, 1998, p. 158) based on 'cumulative evidence' sets a wide range of 1700-1100 BCE. Oberlies 1998, p. 155 gives an estimate of 1100 BCE for the youngest hymns in book 10.
Witzel 1995, p. 4
mentions c. 1500-1200 ВСЕ.
According to Witzel 1997, p. 263, the whole Rig Vedic period may have lasted from c. 1900 BCE to c. 1200 BCE
Thankyou so much OriginalPagan for letting us know that there's also misinformation floating through the internet..... Moksha is not comparable to any worldly achievement at least not with gaining and getting stuck forever to some permanent position....
This video is comparing a Book with a Library
This place is about 3 hours from where I live. If it does not blow yours mind. It’s a temple that no one know who built and how it was built. It’s a three storey building that is a monolith.
Video is not proper. Lots of misinformation about Hinduism.
In Hinduism, cow (female) is much respected, honored, and adored. By honoring this gentle animal, who gives more than she takes, the cow is also considered to be a manifestation of the Mother Goddess in many regions.
