Currently playing the snare part for this, love it
Hello Elias, thank you for sharing your comment. Though I'm not a drummer, drums are my first love, especially the snare drum. So, I try to think carefully when composing the snare part. If I feel excited about it, I imagine others will feel the same way. Best wishes, Joseph Curiale
Joseph- this is a piece I played with my 8th grade concert band. That was 7 years ago and I still come back to this piece when I need a pump up. Thank you!
I got the trumpet solo :)
Congratulations. Wishing you the best.
Thank you for the wonderful message. It made me very happy to hear that you are all enjoying the music so much. Please send along my best wishes to the band and your band director. I wish you all the greatest success!
my band was going to play this a few years ago but our concert was cancelled because of the pandemic :( my disappointment is immeasurable but it was still very fun to rehearse!!
My band is playing this at the moment. It’s a really nice piece.
Hi Magnet, thank you for letting me know. I’m happy to hear this. Would you mind letting me know the name of the band and what city and state? I try to keep a list of all the different bands that have played the music, though I’m sure there are more than I am aware of. Thank you and best wishes with your performance. Dr. Joseph Curiale
Oh, we are just a high school band from Auckland, New Zealand 🇳🇿. I really like the part at 3:16 !
Hi Magnet, wow! Auckland! I visited once and enjoyed it very much. Would you mind letting me the name of your high school? Thank you
Its called Auckland Grammar School. We love your music!
Hi Magnet, you must have a really good band! I’m glad you love the music. I feel honoured. Please send along my best wishes to your band director and bandmates! And thank you for writing. Much good luck to you!
I think it should be every low brass player's goal to sound this clear
My band played this a couple years ago... i played clarinet so it was a nightmare on the fingers but it was so fun!
Thank you for taking the time to let me know your thoughts and experiences. As long as you had fun, that’s what matters most. Hopefully the challenge helped you to become a better clarinetist! 👍
Joseph Curiale I believe it did! The beginning part wasn’t so difficult for me after I learned it and it made playing other fast pieces that quickly go to high notes easier to understand!
@@Korogunso8 This is wonderful! Congratulations! Keep up the good work!
I think the key changes really add some pop to the song! Really good piece of music!
Thank you.
