@@cmoulden78 I don’t eat cheese made from animal milk. There are some good cheeses made out of cashew milk that I really like. But a lot of vegan cheese does not taste good lol
“I am now the person who is giving opportunities instead of begging for one”. Ooooh, gave me chicken skin! Lift as you climb, yes! I love this woman & can’t wait to try her food. We need Slutty Vegan frozen meals in every Walmart & Safeway so even people on Kauai, like me, can get some of this deliciousness. I am an amazing vegan cook. How about a Slutty Vegan cooking show competition? Let’s show the whole world how to make delicious vegan foods. I love Pinky Cole. She is my inspiration. ❤️
For ThanksLiving I made a vegan cheeze ball, cashew and herbs spreadable cheeze, foccachia with thyme, rosemary, and sage, homenade cranberry sauce, corn, and Gardein Turk'y Roast and gravy, and everyone enjoyed it even more than roasted baby animal corpse. Veganism is love 💚🌱
I'm vegan 6yrs now. My hubby and I went to the one in Fairfield, Alabama, when we went to see our grandson football game at HBCU Miles college. and it was awesome! I loved it and bought 2 Slutty Vegan shirts. Will definitely go to the one in Atlanta. I had the One night stand and slutty fries and my hubby had the Fussy Tussy. They were good. Much success to you Queen. ❤️
Love this for her! I've had both Slutty Vegan (it's an experience and a good time) and Dave's. I enjoyed both. But when my supervisor asked if SV caters, I knew it was on.😊
It's delicious!!! And such a fun experience - the sweet spot is right after the lunch rush and before dinner - so between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. Loved it and would definitely go back. So fun to see this story about her!!
The key thing to remember, is that this is vegan “junk food” and she chooses her words very carefully she talks about being better for the planet , calls it a gateway food , “vegan comfort food”, you may be able to make an argument that it is slightly healthier than a regular burger and fries , but I promise eating bunch of impossible meat and all those highly processed “plant based” meats and cheeses, you are not doing your body much good, if you are eating plant based especially for health reasons the key is whole foods ( real fruits and vegetables) plant based diet , this should be treated like any other junk food and eaten in moderation as treat if you do indulge , it’s a lot of people eating food like this on a regular bases thinking they’re being healthy… but also salute to her success
It’s good but nothing to really get excited about. The reason why I would return is because there’s a location near my house. Despite my tepid post, I do give the place credit for their unique flavor profile that you normally won’t taste in other burger places
Vegan food (aka plant based) is now available for health food fanatics and junk food junkies. It has never been easier to go vegan. It has never been more important, either.
I've been a vegetarian since the '80s (I'm 63 now), and on most days I am a vegan. I'd love to go to this restaurant. Although, it reminds me when 'Martin' (Martin Lawrence TV sitcom) worked at "Hoochie Burger." 'Could you, please, speak directly into the hoochie.' LoL! Classic.
Slutty Vegan doesn't pay their employees. Their employees sued them for unpaid wages and tips, so I stopped eating there. As a business, the least you can do for your workers is pay them!
When to the Harlem location must say the food is amazing and I am not a vegan. The burger was one of the best burgers (meat or non meat based) I have had in a long time.
❤❤❤🎉I love this Congratulations Queen. I cried when I watched this segment. I just was blessed with the opportunity to try Slutty Vegan last month in Bowie (Lanham Kitchen Cray) So inspired and grateful for you. Can’t wait until the DC location opens. Maybe even PG too please 🙏🏾🤤🫡😉
@TyTyMcGinty ~ It reminds me of the Martin TV show when he briefly worked at "Hoochie Burger" ": 'Could you, please, speak directly into the hoochie.' Then you had to talk into her crotch for your order. Classic TV. It was funny... at least for adults.
Good for her. Great concept, great marketing, and the stuff looks yummy. But it also looks like fried food, primarily, and very high in fat and calories. Vegan junk food. Correct me if I'm wrong.
True. However, if you are going to eat junk food, it might as well be plant based junk food. Better for the planet and for all the Eartthlings on it. Unlike red and processed meat, at least vegan junk food isn't carcinogenic.
The US needs Pinky to influence the next generation. Most people in her situation would have ended up with children out of wedlock or in prison. She is doing better than many Gen Z-ers and millenials with none of the resources they had. I bet she had a strong mother that gave her that tenacity to always strive and never be a victim. Great story.
I am vegan now for 3 years. The food is much better than what i used to eat. So much flavor and smells so good with all those veggies.
Is the cheese vegan?

She started selling in Target in Atlanta and on Amazon. Maybe she'll do Walmart next. In the meantime, buy her cookbook 😁

Bless you Pinky Cole! 💛✨

I love this place - so very cool !!
What a nice encouraging story!!
New York…🤞 Wish I lived closer. Looks yummy!
There are 2 locations in nyc.
Great, thanks!
Didn't she start her restaurant journey in New York City?

Proud of her!
Please please come to San Diego! 😭💕

God bless you 🙏
This was a great report!!!
Well done with Vegan food, Pinky! Black communities need it.
All races need more vegan fast food
No, all races need more whole, unprocessed food, and less processed bs.
Yea blacks only.

Have you been there? I would open a vegan restaurant, but I’m too old now. I pray her great success!!
I'm not eating anywhere that has the word "slutty" in the name
Slutty Vegan doesn't pay their employees. Their employees sued them for unpaid wages and tips, so I stopped eating there. As a business, the least you can do for your workers is pay them!
She's mastered the corporate handbook, I see.
If this is true this is very shameful..it takes away from what would be a model employer.
@@michaelvaladez6570 It's true! Google "Slutty Vegan Unpaid Employees"
Yeah but she's a black vegan woman so it's okay for her to do that.
@@MK_ULTRA420 No, it's not. That's why Slutty Vegan was sued and forced to settle.
Its so good!
Beautiful!
What an angel.
I will definitely visit again. The chicken head sandwich is delicious. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I love it !😻
I haaate the name.
I want them here in UK too
I want to try it now, but I live on the west coast 😭
Awesome business!

Hello from WA state! Yes!

You are correct. Most people get a burger every now and then, they don’t eat them every day. Same concept for plant based folks..
You are correct about what they showed in the video. "Comfort food" was their wording.
😂 real classy CBS.
THE BREAKFAST CLUB&ANGELA YEE TALKS ABOUT YOU.
Lord have mercy 😂😂😂
Tacky.
The name will greatly limit their ability to expand
Tooooo loud for me! 😂
I hope her husband changes his menu to vegan meat!
Are those Cumbrellas vegan? I bet they end up in her food, so I hope so...
Only in ATL smh very innovative tho lol
Processed, chemical-filled junk. I prefer being a vegan who eats whole food, plant based, with no added sugar, oil, or salt!
Just because it's plant based doesn't mean it's healthy.
Yeah she knows. She said it herself you shouldn't eat it everyday
True. However, if you are going to eat junk food, it might as well be plant based junk food. Better for the planet and for all the Eartthlings on it.
Unlike red and processed meat, at least vegan junk food isn't carcinogenic.
Admirable, but plant based food is ultra processed and not as healthy as real fruits and veg.
"Plant based" can be whole food or processed.
There are plenty of UA-cam cooking channels for cooking whole food plant based.

No diversity in staff...
The day that I was born was Easter Sunday. I tell folks that I have come back but they just laugh. SMH.
