5:48 Exactly. Quick PSA : Try to call your broker and ask them if they have a way to reduce your commission. Case in the point, my broker charges me 0.4% per trade in fees, but after calling them turns out they have a "short-term plan" which cuts down the fee to 0.3%. They even have one in which the fee is only 0.2%, but that requires a 100K account and I'm not there yet. When you're pocketing 0.5% movements as a scalper, that's a quite a lot of money left on the table.

Hello Mark, I’m new to trading and I usually trade stocks with a maximum of 2 cent a a spread for every 50$. I’m just wondering why you didn’t mention or I just didn’t hear you talking about trading individual stocks? Thank you for this channel it’s been a huge help.

Maybe I'm thinking the wrong way - I'm no expert - but haven't you got to balance the spread against things like the ATR & volatility, and how good one is at trading that instrument?
Various instruments "feel" quite different to trade, obviously
But yes, I bet scalping appeals to people like me who urgently need to learn some patience - and also people who think they're playing a video game :)

Hi Mark thanks for all the videos, I have been trading for 5 years now and to go into to much detail from the beginning of this year I have been on a demo account, ( I am sure you can guess why ).The point is I have got really consistent scalping and was planning going back to live money soon but I am with a retail broker and the spreads are pretty good but my question do you think I should go for a raw spread account and pay the commissions or just stick to a standard account with zero fees and commissions, its a Forex account.
I'd go for the raw spread account if you're serious about scalping.
