      Backyard Chevy my trucks are in MA and the state has started using chemicals in our winters. It eats our paint and rusts the metals like nothing.

      oh its like the salt they use to melt snow and ice...but they use like magnesium chloride now...that explains why this camaro we got from pennsylvania, the block and transmission aluminum and bolts were really corroded and makes em hard to remove.

    Thank you, I’m about to change oil in my 2006 GMC Canyon. I’ve never changed oil before so this was very helpful. Hopefully I can the filter off - truck has been sitting for a long time and trying to get it on the road again. Thank you!!!❤😊

      @Cbiggnutts hey, do you know why he doesn't let it sit and completely drain every old drop of oil. He said to only let it come to a "slow dribble."

  • @GuyFromTheSouth
    @GuyFromTheSouth 2 роки тому +2

    I dont know where the drain plug bolt is its hard to see with the video exactly where it is

      @@backyardchevy328 No, but the oil filter is accessible from the top if you have long arms. I LOVE MY 05 2.8L Z71 ext. Cab 2WD manual. I have had it 7 years and 115000 miles. It now has 178K, just did oil change and fuel filter and its running like a top. The electrical problems are annoying. I have a contractor topper on it, heavy duty springs, and airlift.

      @@MarthaMyDear6 well it’s unfortunate you’re offended on the behalf of someone else for seemingly nothing offensive. Even he chuckled at the fact he knows he didn’t speak clearly. And in his subsequent videos his pronunciation of words has improved greatly. So that fact that you’re offended by criticism is worrisome.
