Good morning from Down Under. I am new to NodeMCU and I found your video was just a perfect start to my journey. Short, sweet and fast paced. Thank you. Best wishes.
Can you make video how to use it as bios programmer i read a reddit tread that someone use nodemcu 8266 or 32 as bios programmer also they have github of it they use it to flash asus motherboard bios.
can you do a video comparing a the node MCU to the wemos d1 mini and tell us advantages it has over it besides more pins and being able to be programmed in lua and python like what application a d1 mini would be sufficient for and which ones a lua would be overkill for
Lua isnt directly interpreted like python And micropython is still not the future Lua is way faster than python Literally lua is even simpler than python, it just has tables and metatables for everything Meanwhile there are too many things in python for each individual things Get ur education right
Better yet, micropython sucks Just use c Even arduino sucks Write everything in c U r not learning anything in arduino, all u doin is copy and pasting C lets u learn the hardware Micropython lets u copy paste but easier to read, dont tell me u r trying to learn python, if u have touched python before, there isnt anything more advanced in micropython than what u have touched before, it's all just library functions and copy paste Now lua is a great in between, great performance, simpler than python, more flexible, used in a lot of other places, u really do learn the hardware and software all by urself if u use lua, there is a lot to be learnt here, better than braindead copy pasting, this actually helps future projects
@@aishwaryap Hard resetting NodeMCU may work. Me and my friends nodemcu was showing something like "boot mode rst..." We did a hard reset, uploaded the code. Still it wasn't working. But then my friend pulled the usb cable from the laptop and plugged it again and it started working.
C and C++ is a thing in the professional microcontroller world. The "Arduino Language" is C++ if you want to see deeper into the arduino libraries and functions of arduino to learn something use vscode with platformIO to have code browsing and stuff
Lua isn't for serious microcontroller coding. Neither is Arduino. They're baby's first coding. Try working on a project with more than a couple of files and functions, and you'll see why. Code completion? Seek to definition? Forward and back? Nope, barely more than a glorified notepad.

thorough explanation, clearly understood and well organized. thank you!
The channel is highly is underrated. Good content man...👍👍👍
Thank you!

Thanks for the vid, it was very insightful.
Thanks!
ThankYou for this perfect explenation
Really helps out thanks!
What a great look at the NodeMCU! Excited to use one in my next project.
Thanks!
Thank you Very Much 🤩🤟
You’re welcome 😊
I still don’t understand what this does all new to me

Informative! Keep it up
Excellent video 👏👏
Shukran jazeelan. Thank you so much
Enjoyed the video ✌
Thank you!

So NodeMCU is basically another word for any ESP dev board
How can you tell what Version you have by looking at the board?
But what can one utilize this for?

Hello my friend I have a problem small in my project And I want you to help me solve it Excuse me
Good video
Micropython is the future! Thank God we ditched the Lua interpreter

Saying "now u know all about nodemcu" might be too far a stretch
can anyone tell me why my wifi inside nodemcu isn't working ?
Check the code.
Have you put the correct SSID and password?
I used ThingSpeak as my IoT platform
@@age_a587 even when i run "wifi scan" code it comes up with " no networks found" when it is right next to a modem
@@age_a587 Everything is correct still it's neither broadcasting nor scanning other Wi-Fi networks or may be i have got some defective NodeMCU

@@age_a587 ya tried that as well, still same problem also visited lot of forms but didn't get any proper solution :(
Is NodeMCU only compatible with 12E version of 8266? What about 12F and 12S?
i just ordered a NodeMCU 12s 4 mb should be great 😝
It comes with an adapter?
Yes but what you really do with them run mine-craft server?
you didn answear the question
can I connect one to an arduino to give my arduino wifi?
I think so
maybe thru uart (tx,rx,gnd,v+3/5) pins or other protocol like spi or i2c

Sure
good one but way too music at the beginning
