@@micheled3811 yes everything is normal no need to trust the drama channels that only post videos for views for their own financial gain and have no respect or consideration for people's livelihoods.
Gary, you can't deny that part of the main street was completely flooded. You also can't deny that some of the charm of the coastline in Sanur has disappeared along with the disappearance of several restaurants. The money exchange agent at the beginning of your video is fine, we change our money there when in Sanur.
Great video Gary, were being positive and fully intend to enjoy ourselves (hot sun or not) when we arrive at the Mecure this Sunday morning, cheers mate
@@patrickantwerp1364 i do not deny the flooding did not happen. The point is some videos do not need to be shown to public to create alarm as in this case from the online tour driver that posted it as it is a one-off occurance flooding inccident in Sanur and not a true reflection of how that street looks on a day to day basis. People like this only post for views for their own financial gain and have no respect or consideration to the effects videos of this nature have on tourism and people's livelihoods. 50% of videos on his channel are about many negative issues, To call himself an online tour guide showing videos of this nature is shameful and so disrespectful to all the Indonesian people who's livelihoods they effect due to less tourism in Bali. RE charm of coastline: yes i was sad to see lilla pantai and coco bistro go but the rest of the restaurants in that area appeared to be struggling for quite some time and had very few customers everytime I walked past day & night. I will not comment for now if what will be built in the restaurants place will be good or not as only time will tell but I personally think Sanur can handle another beachfront resort as most of the other beachfront resorts are regularly fully booked. I had my reservations about Icon Bali but now I have seen what it has to offer and the improvement in that area I think it is a good addition to Sanur.
I ignore all negative videos, I've been to sanur twice before and loved it.. Few years ago mind, but my brothers wife is balinese and they have a house their, kadek also has a salon there.. Only 3 UA-cam I follow is you, sanur diaries and bec and Matt, id love to see you all get together.. Adam said he's up for it
Thanks again. It's good to see how quickly the flooding dispersed. You've surely done a walk further south down JDT . Any idea what title i should look for to see that part?
@balibygary9718 south of jl karang sari. (Where we will be staying) to get an idea of what will be handy. I've gone into google maps street view, but it never looks as good as when you video it
GARY, I am planning to stay at the Bumi Aju Bungalow hotel from 5 till 10 febr. Is there a risk that the hotel is not reachable because of the flooding? I love your video's by the way.
@@ton06th the flooding was a very rare occurance and nothing really to worry about. That video featured & posted by the online driver guy is for nobody except his own financial reward. It's a drama video just like many other videos on his channel used to alarm people to get more views to make more money. The guy is a drama queen whom has learnt and understands how to play an audience to benefit himself financially. What kind of online tour driver would post videos like that????
Please say Gelato properly. It's "Gel" like what you put in your hair. Gelato "ATO" like tomato. Also I watch Krisna every day and the last thing he would want to do is be negative about Bali. I enjoy your videos too but please don't be one of these UA-camrs that bag other UA-camrs.
Thank you for always updating
thank you , reassuring ))

Gary and Adam produce some excellent videos, maybe we can get a few subscribers meeting up with them .
Hi, would you be able to do a hotel/room tour of 101 Oasis and Maison Aurelia?
