I think I'm going to start Interhigh this June (June 2020) I'll keep an update if I do!
I'm going to beg my parents by making a powerpoint with all the pros and cons and discussing how the curriculm, timetable and education of interhigh will work.

Probably her parents, but hang in there Maya! Make a powerpoint on all the pros and cons of online school and say you'll work really hard and suggest some online schools and do research on how everything works. (The curriculm, the lessons, the timetable, the teachers, interactiveness of lessons etc.) Your parents should say yes, I havent made my powerpoint yet but fingers crossed that when I finish my powerpoint this Saturday and show it to them they say yes.

by far the loneliest and most useless experience of my life, spent two years here, turned up to year 10 at regular school with minimal knowledge expected of a student my age. there was next to no human interaction ever, like imagine covid online school, but worse bc you know no one, people don’t talk or show their faces and you can’t really talk outside of school hours bc you can’t exchange social media

The main issue with this school is a lack of discipline: since the classrooms are online, the teachers are barely able to inflict any sort of will/discipline over the students & that allows the student to easily get distracted seeming as they're sitting in front of a computer all the time. It's expected that supervision/discipline is the parent's job but circumstances are different for every student & parent so it is not always possible for this to be arranged (an example is to have a single parent who's busy with work).
About each of my (explore) classrooms holds around 18 students, and this is no exaggeration when I say only 3-8 students are active in the lesson.
If you want your child to enroll in this school then expect to have to enforce your own discipline over them, otherwise it would be an ineffective learning environment.
I agree! I get worried if I'm late to a lesson, I don't know how people can just decide not to show up

if anyone wants an honest review here's mine you sit inside all day with no one to socialize with and if you like in Europe the timetable is extremely annoying because it's hard to see your friends since most days you finish a 4-5 o'clock and there's big gaps so if you want to go out with your friends you might be out for maybe 2-3 hours just to come back for 1 lesson to then go back out again, if you may have dyslexia and ADHD like me it will be very hard to concentrate because there is no discipline from the teacher and it is very easy to get distracted, so if you're transitioning from a school to inter-high i wouldn't recommend it
Then do lessons after school join extra curricular
and to add on to that being at this school i have never been more depressed

School isn't the only place you can make friends. My son is home schooled and all his close friends are people he met at activity groups. He has friends all over the world. Not just school friends. Very narrow minded to say it's depressing. The world is changing.
