i wanted to get back on the vlogging grind, so this is some footage from two days of busy work & getting back on schedule now that classes are over! i'm hoping to get back into reading a bit more (currently working through "the making of asian america" by erika lee) and to take some time to reflect on this channel and my future goals..

i'm watching the parts where you talk about the idea of being a role model and i just wanted to say that you've been really helpful in showing me that the people who get into these colleges aren't gods, just hard workers, and they still have breakdowns and slumps and good friends and memories that aren't working.

i love your honesty on the studying slumps/motivation! I'm Harvard 2012 and definitely went through the same.. and even worse in grad school ! It stayed with me into my career too LOL btw, CS50 was one of my favorite courses!! Enjoy :)

this comment is super random, but I definitely recommend you disconnect your laptop when it's done charging because my friend recently had to buy a new laptop because she kept it on even while her laptop hit 100% percent and an Apple worker told her that basically caused her battery to swell up and mess up ;/

Hi Christine! I'm a sophomore in high school and I need some advice. Harvard has always been my dream (since I was about 4 or 5) but I'm not sure if I have still have a shot. Freshman year wasn't great and i did pretty average (like 50% pass). Where I am from we have four terms/semesters and the first term was ok (better than anything i did in freshman year) and then corona hit and now I'm at home! So basically what I'm asking is, do you think I still have a shot at getting in based on what you have read? Please reply, it would mean a lot!

i met some labs at this research fair for harvard undergrads! then i emailed the ones i talked to at the fair and got a position at the one i’m currently with xx
