MV Demetrios II Shipwreck | Paphos, Cyprus

MV DEMETRIOS II was wrecked on March 23 1998 on his way from Greece to Limassol, Cyprus during a storm. Since that night, the boat remains still about a kilometer off the coast of Chloraka (north of Paphos), visible from the main road. The wear due to corrosion is visible after being abandoned for thirty three years in the sea and continues to be a tourist attraction.
