05.19.22 IHL Discussion: Climate Change, Heat, Best Practices and Youth with Roop Singh

Roop Singh is a Climate Risk Advisor for the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Center working at the intersection of climate and society. She supports disaster managers around the world to access, interpret and use climate risk information for decision-making. She is the interim Heat of the Centre's urban team and leads work on adaptation to extreme heat.
Aynur Kadihasanoglu works at the American Red Cross Global Disaster Preparedness Centre and the Climate Center of Red Cross Red Crescent in a shared position. Aynur is a city planner by education with years of experience in humanitarian and development fields. She lives in Geneva, Switzerland and collaborates with the RCRC network globally with a focus on Tanzania, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Honduras.
