- Hello...
Looks like you've found the description. Welcome to the world of Awesome: A land of good times, comedy, and unnecessary information. Like and subscribe if you dare ;)
Modern Warfare 3 started off its campaign with an epic creation - The Battle of New York. Covered by two missions, this battle holds many hidden secrets outside its boundaries. From modeled streets you never get to see to the Statue of Liberty in the distance, there is so much to find. I had a blast making this video, and I hope you enjoy it too.

MW3 was the first time I think i've ever seen a pilot get control of his helicopter back after taking a hit in literally any videogame ever.
Real
First time a helicopter pilot knew what he must
this is some classic youtube content right here.
certainly worth a like a sub 👍
Yes, I totally agree
Ffhhyg
As a native New Yorker this mission always hit different to me. I can see myself walking those war torn streets, clear as day. The amount of detail that went into Hunter Killer is astounding, from the harbor to the islands. Shoutout to Brooklyn, too.
That's what I loved the most about the old games. It felt personal because you were fighting street to street in your own country, in places where you've been, visited, lived in. You have emotional connection. You don't get that connection with 'Urzikstan' or 'Verdansk'
I personally think the MW3 devs did a better job than the MW2 devs.
News Flash, New York will be one of the first cities to go in any apocalypse. Nuclear, zombie, world war, alien invasion. Whichever. It's just so heavily populated and condensed. Perfect area to cause mass panic too. I'd recommend getting out of there before the future war comes knocking on your door
@@brawlstarssponsorships eh, I enjoy the D.C and suburban setting of MW2 better honesty.
As a french saying the eiffel tower destroyed was paintfull
I always liked Overlord voice actor, sounds like a 40 year old and a 20 year old at the same time
Bruce Greenwood!
its unironically my favorite part of mw3 his voice fills me with so much nostalgia
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss@@gibuz
And I’m pretty sure he’s the new voice for bald general Shepard
Isn't overlord voice actor different for original MW2 and original MW3? I think it's changed here from og MW2 which had the same voice in new MW3.
Being a NYC native, loved this segment. Wish COD still had epic campaigns like this. Fighting through NYC landmarks like Independence hall, Wall Street, Times Square, and Macy's was surreal.
Yeah I agree, the new call of duty modern warfare games are on a smaller scale for sure, like if ww3 didn't happen in the newer games.
This year’s campaign was truly an awful rushed pile of crap. I do miss the linear boots on the ground missions from the original trilogy.
Fun fact about the submarine: the interior is taken from the MW2 level where Captain Price launces the nukes. Originally, you were supposed to follow Price into the sub to launch them.
fun fact: one of the big russian ships in this mission is used mayorly in a dlc spec ops
"Good"
Frosts upper body strength has gotta be insane to keep holding on like that. Loving the content man
Core my man!
He is Delta after all.
@@brawlstarssponsorshipsthem delta guys are on some other shit
I love having another look at these missions when you’re not playing because you really get to admire the work the devs put in the environment.
I was so waiting for this! I'm a ship nerd so I can see that we have the US navy arleigh burke class destroyers, the two your small boat drives through after the sub, background ships that are listing or sinking near the city are the san antonio class landing platform docks, I live in the UK, and we had the LPD-19 mesa verde with a big "ghost gator" decal with a croc on the helicopter deck garage.
The Russians have the big slava class missile cruisers and the smaller ones are the tarantul class corvettes.
It's a bit weird how all the ships are cluttered up right outside NYC, but it looks cool as shit so
@@blueberet0 Oh yeah, for sure lol it looks cool but yeah they would be much farther lol, i also forgot to mention the aircraft carrier and the sub too.
There is a flight combat game called DCS World (digital combat sim) and it has these ships in very high quality and they are placed so far away, its a bit closer to how it should be.
@@Spendingryan Oh yeah DCS is a cool game.
I feel like what COD should have gone for here is more of what Battlefield 4 did. Where you use submarines to approach Russian ships in NYC harbour from an American strike group located a few kilometres away trying to push them out. Taking out the russian submarine would mean that you've essentially encircled the russian military in NYC.
You can also see the USS Nimitz is sinking (CVN-68)
@@blueberet0i think the idea is that the russian navy has control over the harbour and coast since they sunk that Nimitz class aircraft carrier… in turn would allow the other ships to go further in and create a beach head. They really would be further out though including the US Navy and unless that Nimitz carrier was docked NYC at the time of the invasion… that thing would not be anywhere near the warzone and be conducting operations in the Atlantic or even in the Pacific side of the US with a whole fleet of ships for protection.
I think that Black Tuesday is a reference to black Monday when the New York Stock exchange crashed in 1987 or maybe a reference to the start of the great depression also started in the New York Stock Exchange. Maybe they refer to these tragic New York Events as this too would be a very tragic event if New York was ever invaded.
These campaigns were nightmares on veteran....im glad to have finished them a decade ago. These no-clip videos of yours are pretty fun btw
in borderlands 1 you can get out of bounds using a weapon called “sledges shotgun” from a boss you kill pretty early in the game. you do need 2 players but you can explore outside the boundaries by dueling each other the person with the shotgun kneels and the other player jumps and you literally get LAUNCHED in that direction! my brother and i have been exploring outside the locations a lot! it’s pretty fun!
Most underrated COD campaign ever?💯
these vids are perfect, when i was a kid i always went in private match spectator to just explore the outside of maps and all the easter eggs. never even thought about using no clip for campaign missions, very interesting to see
Probably the coolest call of duty missions minus the Vietnam ones with woods.
One of my favorite first levels in a CoD campaign. Really enjoy all the details tje developers put into this, even if we don't even notice during casual gameplay.
How is there only 20k subscribers dude has the quality of a million sub content creator dude keep it up this is absolutely amazing the classical content folks love and enjoy and you execute it just perfectly
Love this series, the detail the used to put in these campaigns is incredible. I never would have thought how accurate to New York this mission was.
This entire channel and video has a 2012 vibe, and I love it.
I am surprised how detailed the Oscar class submarine was well detailed even though it’s a Soviet/Russian ballistic missile submarine which is still in use by Russia and is probably a regarded secret on everything on the sub.
Sandman is my all time favourite COD character.
12:19 I’m a massive fan of the Mi-24 Hind in fact it’s my favorite Chopper out of all Military Helos in the world, but it’s absolutely offensive seeing the GSh-30-2 twin barrel gun on the side and a low poly Yak-B 12.7 lmfao
bro uploaded the vid ive been waiting for this mw3 mission is one of them missions i spent hrs trying to get out of map on because i just liked how campaign missions were set in urban areas or cities
been waiting for this vid. idk what it is but even maps i’ve explored myself using noclip i like watching these, they’re like a comfort video for me
Man, this for me is really good content. Your narration and just showing us all these small details good stuff bro!
This series made me sub you definitely grabbed a much needed niche, was hoping someone would come along and do what your doing. I may add if you get someone to peak at the code you might find even more secrets.
love this type of content man keep it up
This was a really good video. Love mw3. Keep up the great work!
Your channel is going to blow up! Great content
This is a great part of the game. Thanks for doing an outside of it! ❤
You never fail to amaze me I swear!
I love these videos. I think it would be cool if you could explore the out of bounds of the MW3 multiplayer map of "Resistance" since you can see the Eiffel tower in the distance.
FINALLY BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Just got done watching the last two of these and oh boy looks like I’m one of the first comments. I dig this channel so far! Always have been intrigued by going out of bounds in games.
I remember being so excited for this game to come out. Was a let down after I got it, MW2 definitely outshines 3.
I've been waiting for this video❤❤❤
Love these type of videos!
I’m actively watching last weeks video trying to get caught up on all my favorite UA-camrs lol but hell yea
I’m hooked on these! Do more!!!
this series is awesome, great memories
Love this series, keep it up!!
I love these videos so much 😂it’s so cool!
keep fighting the algorithm battle. one day, you’ll make it to everyones feed again. this channel is worth being discovered
I remember going to my dads during the weekends just to spend hours playing MW3 on my wii thanks for posting nostalgia
Awesome video, like always ❤
Hey Mr. ThatwasAwesome, can you do some outside vide on Cod Ghost Missions? I think they could do a great vid! Love your vids bro, always entertaining af
This channel is a certified hood classic
I love this guy, wish he made some squad content
You are underrated af
I would love to see this for every mission in every game. even on Cod 1 and stuff
Oooooo my favorite COD of all time and the first COD game that introduce me to online match
Mw3 campaign underrated
Keep doing what your doing trust me
Something I noticed was the aircraft carrier seen at 26:26 is actually the USS Nimitz CVN-68
Excellent video! I'm a little sad you didn't check out the Aircraft carrier :(
Another sick video dude! Was literally just thinking of other maps/missions I'd love to see and thought of 'all ghillied up' the chernobyl mission in MW1 , what whould think about doing any MW1 missions/maps?
I think there's a strong possibility of that coming soon! (Keep an eye out for it in upcoming polls)
Also if you wanted to take a look at more mw3 later on, there is a Germany Invasion level later in mw3, it has LCAC, landing craft air cushions deploying tanks but I'm not sure how big the area is though.
My favorite out of map glitch is on all Ghilled up, my favorite thing to do when I was a kid
USS Nimitz just casually blocking half the harbor, evidently having shot off ALL of her aircraft before presumably being scuttled
I just found this channel and I've been binging. I think that you should start uploading these in 4k, Even if that isn't the native resolution. I noticed that often when you're flying around the map, the compression makes it visually overwhelming to follow. UA-cam caps 1080p uploads at a stupid low bitrate.
Ahh, that might be a good idea. I'll look into it!
did anyone else as a kid reset that checkpoint fighting the hinds like 20 times trying to stop the final scripted collision? good times man
Man i miss this game ❤
God that opening RPG took me back
The interior of the sub was actually the exact copy from MW2 sub, when Price enters it to launch a nuke, but you never see it back then without noclip.
Russian Navy on a sub was originally planned to use actual russian navy uniforms, there's still some models presented in game files, but due to potential backlash they changed them to something navy-ish common clothes.
I always found it interesting that the OWTC used in the background of the Submarine mission was originally going to have the current OWTC that is in NYC. There is probs an anxious reason why, but still neat nonetheless.
ah the og cod mw3 i remember using noclips in this game💀
On the flooded tunnel mission, this is (maybe) a reference to the Stallone movie called Daylight that is set in a flooding NY tunnel.
Yo dude you should put squad videos on your channel man!
This mission was cool af
Ngl, you could make a game solely feature the invasion of NYC and it could have a full length campaign without getting old
That was awesome
Please keep it up!
Yea keep putting them videos out or my man here will arrest you for content neglect😊
"Back Tuesday" caught me off guard, sorry 😂
the DLC maps for this game have very detailed out of playable areas
Cool
I finally got the chance to be one of the first 10 people to comment 🥰 love the work
I remember playing this og call of duty modern warfare trilogy
BRO! Outside mw3 multiplayer maps please! Try and make it all the way to the Eiffel Tower on Resistance. Also outside Arkaaden is really cool! (I used to glitch in this game)
Maybe you can do some battlefield missions ?
1:14 gave me flashback
Can you do the plane crash mission in MW3?
As an a geek and someone who knows a bit about ships the aircraft carrier I assume is the uss gerald r ford and seeing how there none of the carrier aircraft I also assume they sunk
Idk if you can do this to any game, but if you could for Freedom Fighters, it'd be a lot cooler if you could dude
was super disappointed they never brought it to the remaster
I wouldn’t really say that new cods don’t show the horror of war. Mw2019 had like 2 missions where you have to play through getting warcrimed
Finally the battle of New York City goes hard
Ah yes, some more digital comfort food B)
I visited this place in Marvel's Spider-Man 1 and 2, and i think the area is near FEAST in Spider-Man.
Hey, can you do the favela mission there’s a lot to that
How did you enable noclip and console?
Im not 100% sure but in the first version there were the twin towers but they removed them before the games release after 9/11?
Can you do Paris as well? Russia? Berlin?
That aircraft carrier is the uss Nimitz CVN68
Don't know if you have done it yet. But have you done Outside of the AC-130 maps? From MW1 and MW3?
We need a MW3 remaster
Watching video likes this i haste me to find my old Xbox and play One more time the old saga of modern warfare 😢
22:49 irl those aren't warehouses, they're abandoned train terminal from the immigration era
Спасибо
I wonder what strategic and tactical decisions led to the Russian and American fleets (including an aircraft carrier) somehow getting into a close quarter battle in New York Harbor as if they're reenacting the Battle of Salamis lmao.
which Metal team members are in the Black Hawk with you? i think you can see only two during the crash!
Realizing you make more detailed maps on Far Cry, while CoD designers make their maps look like a bad far cry map edit
