    The only version, other than Elvis', that I actually enjoy. He did his own thing but did it justice -- just as gritty and hard-hitting as the original, yet in a completely different style. I've been looking for this for a while; thank you for posting.

      Hoyt’s mother Mae Axton wrote the song. He can do what he wants!

    i hate to say this..i love elvis but I like hoyt axtons version better...first time hearing it from mr a xton
