ahah this is their version of the first head title song of "Attack on Titan", the anime, it's totally their style but if it's your favourite perhaps you should go checking Linked Horizon which is the japanese group who originally wrote and performed the song.
@@noboru5138 I have a bit of a conflict here. Epica's version is more accurate, better arranged and recorded, and of course Simone's voice sounds amazing and yet... The original japanese still has that something that strikes me right in the heart 🙄

As for people sounding like their own music in real life, I think Tony Kakko would be another such example. His raw vocals sound awesome and where Simone is great, Tony is straight out pitch-perfect. In the end, I didn't like the studio versions as they seemed over-polished with backing vocals and all the other stuff. My favorite album is For The Sake Of Revenge (2006).

No se trata de quien es mejor o superior. Epica hace mucho que dejó atrás a Nightwish, y son la mejor banda expositora de Metal sinfónico. Por su Parte Tarja con banda no han mostrado mucho metal, y su línea melódica es muy distinta a epica. Simone hace bien lo suyo y no necesita compararse con nadie. ✌️🤘
No se si la superó. Pero me gusta más la voz dinámica de Simone Simons. Las voces de ópera son preciosas pero son muy planas. Prefiero a Floor como voz potente o a Simone que tiene una voz muy dulce🌹
...me parece que Tarja es la mejor cantando lirico en el metal sinfonico...con nigtwish, incluso mejor que Floor. Ahora tarja cantando como solista es aburridisima😐, es muy nasal. Simone la supero en ese sentido, en el canto no lirico, puede jugar mas con su voz. Podria cantar pop melodico y hace genial el metal. Años atras jamas yo hubiese admitido que Simone es mejor vocalista que Tarja...pero es asi, a Tarja le falta mas versatilidad, no estancarse y no ser tan nasal. Y Floor es mejor que Simon, hablando de registro vocal....pero me aburre, se lucia mas en after forever, con nightwish me aburre . En rwsumen...Simone es la mejor en estos momentos, se ha superado a si misma, a dejado atras a otras que se quedaron en su zona de confort.

You really should. I've only been able to see them live twice so far (2013 and I think 2017). But both times have been fucking amazing.
