Usually it tends to look more casual and less formal than other Lolita fashion styles.) I understand why they are using the term “Lolita” but in the illit situation, it’s a reference to the Japanese fashion style. Especially since we Lolita’s usually wear bloomers as shorts to add extra poof to our dresses and skirts. A lot of the other members had Lolita and other J fashion inspiration. About Twice's Chaeyoung... Even if it's true that the stylists are the ones in charge of what idols wear, it's sad how ignorant they are as well. Fan service makes you think they are these almost perfect human beings, but whenever something like this happens, it reminds me of how most of them are just dolls that do what they are told and nothing else. God forbid they get interested in educating themselves

For illets bloomer situation, I don’t think it’s promoting a “Lolita concept” aka relating to the book of the same name. It’s referencing the “Lolita fashion” aka a Japanese fashion style which is very modest in nature and takes inspiration from Victorian and rococo fashion. (I don’t remember her name) but in another magnetic stage, the girl in the purple dress (she also wore a white one as well but I’m using her in for this example). She looks to be wearing a babydoll dress but with the accessories (headdress,accessories, etc) it reads more like sweet Lolita to me (aka a poofy dress which usually is more cuties then classic and or takes less inspiration from the rococo and Victorian era fashion, usually having elements of sweets, bears, rabbit printed on the dress. Usually it tends to look more casual and less formal than other Lolita fashion styles.) I understand why they are using the term “Lolita” but in the illit situation, it’s a reference to the Japanese fashion style. Especially since we Lolita’s usually wear bloomers as shorts to add extra poof to our dresses and skirts. A lot of the other members had Lolita and other J fashion inspiration.
Just wanted to add a different perspective to that situation specifically. The rest of the situations which use Lolita are….smh. They are something else.
