    The biggest thing I feel is under appreciated by us club players - the CONSTANT knee bend. Sinner makes it much more obvious to spot, but man, it's CONSTANT. Helps so much for feel / adaptability to different spins and paces coming at you.

      Not only feel/adaptability. It gives him power which is why he is very dangerous. He is one of the very few players who can hit the ball with a strong consistent pace from both sides. Very rare to see that in this new generation. Believe it or not he reminds me of Federer, he has all the shots.

      Cause no one hit stronger than in practice but Sinner. Then these are highlights so we don’t know the other 90% of the point how it went

      Then everyone in top 250 players is an extremely good hitter. What changes is all the rest, tactic, mental, phisical and so on

      Sinner NEEDS to learn the short knifing Federer slice to pull opponents in and the surprise forehand drop shot…then he’ll win 20 Grand Slams

    Xvrazy the contrast in level of energy needed to hit these bombing groundies. Sinner seems to take one step where Sweeney seems to be launching his entire frame into each forehand.

    The way Sinner hits the ball doesn't look that powerful but the pace on his balls are just ludicrous. How does he generate so much pace? He must have perfect timing and contact point otherwise it just doesn't make sense.

    • @isabellasmith8377
      @isabellasmith8377 8 місяців тому

      i think a lot of players use power from the entire arm, whereas sinner uses mainly his forearm and wrist power which makes racket movement pretty fast with minimum backswing. It's like he's playing badminton where shuttle speed is best generated using wrist action. He hits like the ball is very light for him!

    • @MrCWL
      @MrCWL 8 місяців тому +2

      Notice how rarely he raises his body weight upwards through the shot. He keeps most of his weight going into the shot more linearly. Compare how often his opponent raises his weight up to create higher arcs of the shot trajectory. If you put more of your weight into the shot along the court as opposed to above the court, you'll find you barely need to swing at the ball to generate large amounts of pace of shot. This is true at even the beginner level of tennis

      The way sinner bends into a sort of lunge position is fucking bananas. Of course he's tall and he has to, but to bend down like this is not easy and it helps generate power.

      ua-cam.com/video/WtuKUrlk_RA/v-deo.htmlsi=KOH_PX_Aw0sjakWc This is how Sinner does it. I’m hopeful Rublev is going to change/ has changed his stroke mechanics on the backhand side to make his life easier 🤞🏻
