It is so sweet to see how concerned you are while working on the Thai! Patting the baby's bum dry ever so gently! 🍬🍼Could you show us the bad weather through the window more often?! I love the glimpse of life in another country. 💙
Even with the problems you are having with your Thai Con it still looks gorgeous! I think it will be happier in a terracotta pot, it lets the roots breath better than plastic. Don't blame yourself, your doing an awesome job with all your plants 🌿🪴 Your 'planty assistant' sounds very handsome! 🤗 Hope you are having a great week, stay warm 🥶🥶💙💙
AWWW she's going to do GREAT in that mix!!! And thank you for teaching the word BLUE! My dog's name is Blue so now I can add to his language too by using Russian and Polish versions!! 💙💙
I can’t believe I didn’t watch this in the first place. I went to watch today’s video and saw I had started and not finished it. So watching the older video then I’ll watch today’s. I’m crossing my fingers for your baby. I know how much you love her. I almost lost my peace lily but I out it in a smaller pot, most had died and I was trying to water a huge pot with a small amount of plant. Hugs and kisses to you.
Hello Svetlana! How are you? ❤️ It's been so long since I last commented. 😂 I am watching your video now and feel so sorry about your Thai Constellation. What I would have done in your place is I would have got a top cutting and put it in water to root. Water propagation is the best way to root Thais in my experience. Than I would have made also middle cuttings till like 2 nodes from the base. The bottom cutting I would try in very chunky soil and the others again in water. The more plants the more chances to succeed. Also when there are lots of leaves on the plants it needs more energy to sustain the plant and when there are problems with the roots it goes downhill faster. Hopefully yours gets better now but if it still continues to decline, think about this alternative. 😘 Big hugs!
I had a few of my Thai Cons get root rot, once I took them out of the soil I could see all the damage. #1 my soil was to dense #2 my pots were to big, like you I cleaned up all the dead roots,I treated mine with alcohol/water and made the soil a lot more chunky, put them into smaller pots and they are all recovering really well. I believe you did a good job with yours,it will thank you for it. 💚🪴🌿💙 Natasha
Glad you caught the issues with your big girl monstera, you have such handy help and you both work together beautifully 🫶🏻. Will for sure be rooting for you. She’s a big one. And so beautiful. Stay warm and also loved seeing Balu 🐕🎅🏻🎄💕. 👕👖🥿🧢🧵🦋🪼🐬🐳🦕🪺🫐🛝🚙💎
She looks better. Hopefully, your potion does the magic for a healthy plant. Agnius, you made me so happy to see you supporting your planty loving wife doctoring up the monstera. For that beauty, it needs both of you. Yes, Svetlana, that gorgeous monstera belongs to the two of you😍 Excited for the updates🤗
Svetlana that’s a beautiful mature Thai, and like you mentioned it’s a good thing that you repotting it into soil. Like you I love pon, but it has its place and I’m learning like you that it may not be for every plant and not for the long term. My alocasias and Hoyas love pon so far, but that can change. Try not to be hard on yourself at least you are taking action. My fingers are crossed for your baby 🪴🫶, and yes please we will need an update☺️ 🪼🐳
Like you said, monteras thai constellation are known to be pretty sensitive to rot, so don't feel too bad about it :) You're doing something now, and that's what counts. I hope time and your good care will fix her up! Good luck
🩵Best wishes to your beautiful Thai Baby! It warms my heart to see you and Agnius work together and support each other with your plant collection! Happy holidays from chilly Minnesota 🥶
Actually it was great in pon for about a year, I stand by that choice. The whole thing was way lighter to bring to shower for watering 🩵 i guess if I repottednit sooner we might have avoided this whole situation. But we live and we learn I guess 😊
Oh no Don't stress yourself so much! I'm keeping my monsters in 50,% tropical HP mix and 50 ,% orchid bark,I'm always afraid she doesn't get enough water, but the roots are perfectly healthy(see through Plastik pot),lots of air pockets I was worried about but all fine 🍀
This was very interesting. I have a very large Monstera. I just brought her inside. She has been outside all Summer. I hope she's going to do well. She was in my bathroom last year. But to big to be in there this year. I have had her for five years. Purchased a cutting for five$. She has really grown.
Pon is definitely not good during winter unless you have a warm house or have the rooms heated. As much as I love how quick plants grow in pon, it also doesn’t seem to be a good long term medium unless we are sizing the pot up constantly. Hope the monsera thai loves your mix and bounces back well this time because its beautiful😁
Both of my TC are showing struggles too. I am so lazy because they are so BIG! It stopped putting out leaves and the leaves are turning yellow, all of them😢
hiya! i can see you have already put it into soil. I was just wanting to ask you how were you watering your Thai when it was in PON? I have 2 of mine in PON and I water them like they are soil plants. Meaning, no resevoir. I just water and let it drain and put it back in the cover pot. Actually all my plants are in PON and I water them the same way. No issues with root rot, and if there is root rot i cannot tell because the leaves have no browning lol. Wishing you all the luck in your new set up. But that is a huge plant with LOTS of nodes so an insurance cut in the future would be a good too!! its HUUUUGE trust me 1 or 2 nodes wont hurt, and the mother plant will push out a new growth point anyway ;) 🎅
I might have left it couple times with a bit of water in the bottom, that's my mistake 😢 but hopefully this will be in the past and soil will work way better for me 💚 Thank you so much for watching!
The roots look really small for such a big plant. You can do it Svetlana. Use some hydrogen peroxide to clear the rot. And as I say this I know you’ve already done what needs to be done. And you can’t hear me.
Hi Svetlana... I'm so sorry, but I can't watch your video because it has an automatic translation in Italian (which sounds terrible 🥴)...Maybe it's how you uploaded it🤷♀️, it says it will do that with some languages 😒... I much prefer hearing your voice 🥰 hopefully I'll be able to watch you next one...😘
I'll keep my fingers crossed for the Thai 💎💙🦋 excited for the upcoming video's and thank you for including baby Balu x 🫂
Thanknyou for watching 💚🤗

Thank you, fingers crossed it will thrive now! 🤞And I will, have snowy walks footage waiting to be edited, maybe if I have enough time in next video 🥰

Yes, exactly! Thank you so much for watching ❤
I haven’t finished the video yet, so I don’t know what you end up doing, but I would consider taking some insurance cuttings🥰
Heeeck no! Can't make myself to cut this beauty 😭😭😭😭
Don’t get down on yourself. You’re a good plant momma and it will do much better.

Sweetie Thai constellation doesn't like wet feet so to speak they are prone to root rot. Let it dry out between watering. It will be happy
I am surprised no one told you this prayers
I know that.. 💚

It looks absolutely beautiful. 🤩
🫂Such a beautiful plant! Hopefully it will get well soon!
I hope so too!🩵
Im so so sorry your going thru this. What made you switch to pon to begin with?

I can’t believe how much roots you lost.
Why would a plant in pon get RR? It’s in water right? I thought I’d you change the water and flush it can’t get rot?
She looks like she loved the spa day 🥰.💎🥶💙👥
Hope you are right! 🤞😊🩵
Both of my TC are showing struggles too. I am so lazy because they are so BIG! It stopped putting out leaves and the leaves are turning yellow, all of them😢

Oh noooo! I think you should find an interesting video to hype yourself up and tackle your babes! Or Rocky Balboa soundrack! 😅
