This is a joke its only 0.3 higher than Hunter F1 which is absolutely useless and 0.7 lower than Hunter F6 which is even more useless. Balance in a nutshell for gaijin
For real, the F.1 and the J34 should go to 8.7. They're just sidegrade Scimitars at this point. And there's an argument to be made that this should be 9.7, no way it deserves the same BR as the FGA.9, though that thing might be semi-decent at 9.0, then this can stay at 9.3.

@@lukeskylicker Well, that's compression in a nutshell, because there is *nothing* a hunter f1 can do vs a 9.7/10.0.
Hunter F1 isn't useless. If you maintain speed at mach 0.9 and resort to vulture play you can get kills with it even in uptiers, especially now there are less small maps. It's borderline impossible to kill in a downtier if flown correctly and conserving speed. And you're far more likely to get a downtier at 9.0 than at 9.3, because 9.3 puts you in the F5C/A-10 uptier blackhole
The only thing that makes the Hunter F1 particularly difficult to play right now in an uptier is Gaijinn's choice to put more Supersonics with less major downsides at 9.3 and keep 30g missiles in the 9.0-10.0 bracket
Lots of people make silly comparisons with the Swift and Scimitar but forget that the Swift compresses like dogshit at high speeds, struggles to stay at Mach 0.9 without afterburner and has far worse energy retention while the Scimitar has absolutely terrible guns-on ability at high speed
@@outrageoussharpie4107 You can definitely make more of an argument the Swift is more of a side grade to the Hunter (though the exchange in strengths puts the Hunter on top).
The Scimitar, however, makes the Swift look like it's incompressible and I dare anyone to fly it like you would a Hunter and get kills.
Same BR as the Swedish one but it gets AIM-9J's instead of B's, it has a better engine and it gets flares.
I feel it's pretty bullshit that a Hunter with countermeasures and good missiles is a lower BR than the Hunter F.6, which has been in a sad state for a long time. Also Britain can't have nice things apparently

Gaijin are doing their usual thing with releasing something under tiered but it's behind a paywall. making people buy it, wait a few weeks and then up tier it after they get their money.

Being a person that loved the fga9 and would still fly the hell out of it if it had flares, I said screw waiting 3 months and bought it. I'm glad I did and to be honest the plane was just fine at BR 9.7. The guns are amazing for me though air belt all day long. Thanks for the video

I think squadron vehicles are in general always in a good position. For example the 10.7 harrier dim 9l carrier. Its not so much worse compared to the 11.7 variant...

That G91 in the last game literally just flew around in the middle of nowhere the whole game and then got close enough to the enemy base to be shot down by a Roland. I'll never understand how some people play this game.

The hunters in general need BR changes. If this is 9.3 then the F.1 should be 8.7, the FGA.9 should be 9.0 and the F.6 should be 9.3 as well.

Gives the F.4 to Sweden when it served in the RAF and could carry fireflashes, doesn't even folder it under the F.1, then goes and gives a hunter that's actually GOOD to Germany, as a squadron plane after making it so that you can't save up squadron RP. Awesome. That and the terrible FM they gave the Tornado feels just kinda like a spit in the face.
The Hunter's minfuel still being not even enough to reach the battle is absurd though.

It's funny because it was at a higher BR than the FGA.9 and the J34 but then Gaijin bumped it down to 9.3 like less than a day after the patch. Still would've been lower than the F.6...
Also dawg you do not need to wait that long to launch the 9Ps they aren't *that* close range. Against the other sub-sonics I've easily managed 2-2.5km shots while they're just running in a straight line.
I hope another quality of life update comes one day to give all applicable planes drop tanks. Which is a lot, but I do hope more planes get drop tanks one day.

I know this plane is in the german tree but its actually a Swiss Air Force Fighter! Also the default livery is the livery from the swiss acrobatic team Patrouille Suisse, they used this jet for the acrobatic displays back in the days! Today they use F-5 Tigers

This update is quite the joke for Britain, this hunter fiasco how is it 9.3??, APDS "buffs" (apparently more of a nerf from my understanding), And ohh the 3rd worst ship as a 6k premium... (The Type 12 is a terrible ship in game mmm 3km blindspot directly forward).
Well, for a time Britain got the first APS for Black Knight, and their Jaguar with guided bombs and thermal pods, same with the Harrier were once the meta in ground RB.

J34 has Aim-9B's, not Aim-9E's (I'm sure you're aware and simply said wrong while thinking right). So the FGA.9 has better missiles and thrust than the J34 at the same BR, while the F.58 has even better missiles and also flares (which at 9.3 are more valuable than anything else tbh). Really hate how Gaijin balances tier VI of Sweden air, honestly just lowering all of them by 0.3 BR would do alot of good for them.

I’d love to see a video on the new F-4S. Additionally, with top tier premiums becoming more common, I think an intro guide to top tier would be a pretty good video or series of videos. Covering the strategy, weapon systems, radar just stuff that you don’t experience in lower tiers.

The fact that this is 9.3 is a kick in the nuts for things like the G.91YS or Q-5L which are both 9.7 & the G.91Y at 9.3 with either worse AAM's or none, no CM, or different A2G weaponry (how is an AGM-65 lower then a GBU?, whole reason the Q-5 is 9.7 over being lower), Only difference is two have a Afterburner, one is berely supersonic yet being flareless at those BR's is an atrocious.

That doesn't narrow it down very much, there are lots of American aircraft with varied abilities. Which plane are you talking about?

@@2552legoboy yeah but no one fights above 5km anymore. Everyone just stays low where it’s virtually impossible to beat a Yak 3, and then your left alone vs 4-6 other players. So what do you do?
Stay high, and ~hope~ they come for you while they either farm ground targets for tickets/XP, or do you dive and try to take on 4+ enemies at once?
I say a bigger problem is the teams not using US aircraft to their strengths.
Just gain separation via diving or just straight line speed and lure them to team mates. If there are none, then push head ons. Dogfighting them is impossible so ur best bet is just head ons unfortunately. Bringing them up high, like 5km would be viable if the matches were longer but they aren't so that's just a waste of time if ur not already fighting at such an altitude.
This being the same BR as a mig 15 is actually bonkers, just shows even more decompression is needed

Gaijin are getting pretty bad with this sort of thing now, not only is this undertiered but it's a squadron vehicle that costs 7500 Golden eagles to unlock unless you're willing to wait for squadron RP to slowly unlock it, i'm not sure how long it would take to unlock using squadron rp but it's pretty long.
So you buy it for 7500, then you have to purchase the upgrades as well,. After all this they will raise it's BR to something like 10.0.
