If we need to cut Lockett for cap or if he just isn't the same player in 24, I'd love to see him move up to 3rd wr. Dude can run routes and has some hands.
I really do think that will be his role. The Seahawks used 3 TEs more than any other team in the league last year but I think in 2024 we will see more 1 TE and Bobo instead of that many TEs. Thanks for watching!
Nice presentation. I must point out (as if most people didn't already know or agree) that Waldron was not the best on play calling for Seattle. Their plays were vanilla at best and still predictable af. I'm hoping Grubb comes in and utilizes the Hawks offense to the max. jmcmillen19 said it best for uses with Bobo. If Lockette is willing to (or can) restructure his contract for one more year (before retirement as a Seahawk). Let Dissly retire or move on. Keep Fant & Parkinson. We'll make the playoffs for sure. The defense will be better with some releases, pickups, and returns (Nwosu). All I'm saying is SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!
I couldn't agree more. Waldron was frustrating and I feel like the Seahawks offense will be far more focused this year. Couldn't be more excited for what comes next. Thanks for watching!
Thanks the breakdown except I disagree with your assessment Bobo doesn’t get a lot of separation- His ability to run routes and get open was what both the coaches and players including Geno, DK and Tyler commented about it
You're right that he has been praised for his separation ability. I should've said this in the video but I think that he is a pretty good separator for his size. I guess I was just comparing him to guys like Lockett who are elite at getting that separation in part because of his size. Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed the video. But you talk about amazing catches in the red zone, and retiring, or trading Lockett, no no no. Bobo will get his chance, but Tyler is a heavyweight!
Yeah that is definitely not going to happen now that Lockett has reworked his contract. Which i am so happy about btw. He is easily in my top 3 favorite hawks of all time, so I 'm thrilled he is back. When I published this video, Lockett had a far bigger cap hit so cutting/trading him was a real possibility but I'm glad the hawks worked it out.
All 22 film (this camera angel) is available for the past two seasons on NFL+ Premium. I personally found it so fun to get access to it because it really allows you to dive into true football analysis so I would highly recommend buying it if thats your thing (like it is more me). Thanks for watching!
I don't disagree. Lockett might be my all time favorite Seahawk. I'm just saying it might happen unfortunately. Although maybe with the cap increasing they decide that he is worth it.
I don’t think WR is the right position for him, maybe TE? He’s a big dude, but slow as well. He can block and can catch and make plays, but we will have to see what Mike Macdonald does.
I think he is a WR but will probably play some of the TE role for sure (think what the Rams do with Cooper Kupp). He can come inside and run block there for sure though. Thanks for watching!
I agree that he could definitely play the role of a TE often but idk if the hawks would feel it is necessary to make a formal position change. Even light TEs still weigh 30 lbs more than Bobo. But I agree that moving him inline like a tight end more would be a really cool way to use him. Thanks for watching!
Yeah I know that was a great play! I think i had a segment for that but ended up cutting it. I should've kept it in because I think he can be a great jet sweep threat as well.
I don't know if that is fully necessary because I would be worried that adding more weight would make his speed a true problem. If I had to bet, I'd say he formally stays at WR but the hawks will use him like they have been as a Fullback/TE/WR combo chess piece. But I totally agree that they should use him more in that role. Thanks for watching!
Receiver 3? Over who? Maybe to replace Lockett but I don’t think he is good enough to be the #3 with the receiving core we have now. Not that he isn’t good enough to be a #3, just that with how good Lockett, dk, and jsn are, bobo isn’t better then any of them yet
You're totally right. I made this video before Lockett got restructured when it looked like he would get cut. For this year, at least, he will be WR4 and will move up in 2025 (when I now think Lockett will get cut).
bobo at least can out-compete for contested balls..... unlike DK who has hands of cement and for 5 years straight proven he cannot catch a contested ball to save his life
I don't know what's you're talking about jake is a very good route runner. If there's any weakness in his game it is his speed.
Which Can be improved
They said that about Steve Largent too. He has no speed. But seemed to always be open running by someone. Run good routes in the NFL you'll get open.
Thanks for the Bobo breakdown. Definitely hope he sees more playing time next season ! Just subbed, keep up the nice work.
Thanks for the sub! I really appreciate it.
Bobo kinda reminds me of Luke Willson. I love his efforts.
I totally see that. These guys that just obviously giver 110% on every play are just so fun to watch and both Willson and Bobo have that for sure.

Feel free to call me dumb here could we use him as a te wr combo? He can run block so well
I really do think that will be his role. The Seahawks used 3 TEs more than any other team in the league last year but I think in 2024 we will see more 1 TE and Bobo instead of that many TEs. Thanks for watching!
Subscribed. Content is better than alot of the guys in the Seahawks space. Keep grinding and you'll blow up
Thanks so much!
MOBOBO!!!💚💙😖💚💙
Bobo is a future superstar! And he has the clisest toe touch in all NFL history!!!
Yeah that toe touch is wild! Thanks for watching!
MORE Bobo next season!
Jake Bobo is not human, he is a god. He will crush his enemies, see them driven before him and hear the lamentations of their women.
Bobooooo

More Bobo!!!
He's basically Adam Thielan
I totally see that. Love that comp.
The way he plays reminds me of jimmy graham
I actually kind of see that.

where do you get this film coverage from ??

Someone needed to say it
More BoBo but not at the expense of no Lockett. I don't want to have to watch a Seahawks team without Lockett.
I don't disagree. Lockett might be my all time favorite Seahawk. I'm just saying it might happen unfortunately. Although maybe with the cap increasing they decide that he is worth it.
I hope Coach Mike uses offensive players like he does defensive - like Swiss army knives. Bobo can go.

Jake bobo could be moved to te. Hear me out, he’s 6’4/5 great blocking, not super fast but as we pointed out, still good.
I agree that he could definitely play the role of a TE often but idk if the hawks would feel it is necessary to make a formal position change. Even light TEs still weigh 30 lbs more than Bobo. You didn’t include his running touchdown
Yeah I know that was a great play! I think i had a segment for that but ended up cutting it. I should've kept it in because I think he can be a great jet sweep threat as well.
"This catch is stupid." 🤣 #sotrue
He reminds me of Joe Jurevicius
Run him as a TE.
More BoBo, to bad Tyler may be a cap casualty
☹️ That sucks, because last year was all coaching's fault. At least 90%. Well, maybe he will join KJ & Gee👍🙏
100th sub
Thank you!
@@The_Legion_of_12s i’m a big hawks fan, so I appreciate your analysis 👍
The way he plays I think he should bulk up just a little bit and make the switch to TE. I can see him becoming like a Kelce style of player.
Bobo has referred to himself as a “hybrid” WR/TE
If only Jake bobo was his qb
:)
If Bobo is cut, the Chiefs will grab him, and Mahomes will make him a star.
He's not going to get cut but i agree KC would love this guy.
Receiver 3? Over who? Maybe to replace Lockett but I don’t think he is good enough to be the #3 with the receiving core we have now.

Uh, what? That take on DK is wild, lol.
@@EchoesDistant nah, just objective observation
Dk definitely can catch contested balls hes done it a crazy amount of times hes just not the most consistent at it
@@YY_SCXR that's the difference between good and great. He's good, he'll never be great
