- I was in the process of making this video when the "Super Best Friends (Final)" video went up, so I figured I'd go ahead and wrap this up with a nice little bow as a send-off.
Sorry if the ending is a little sappy and corny. I wanted to make it a bit special on my end.
Sadly, the intro cut off the credits for the opening but I'll put them down here because they deserve the credit for the amazing intro they put together:

It really stung when he said it. I still lovingly support all their channels despite this however, they're all brilliant and funny content creators. Do I hope that they reconcile, of course I do, but it's ultimately their choice and I won't be one of those people dropping in a donation to ask if they're gonna do reunion episode for old times sake. We don't know the level of reason for the severance and it's honestly not our business. If we truly want to be understanding we'll let them continue down the path they've chosen for themselves and their own. The Zaibatsu lives on through us the fans who love all four of the men.
@@Shogunelite This is a great take on the situation. Honestly, I don't think we'll EVER see a reunion, but a part of me holds out hope that they'll at least be friends again. I don't even need collabs or anything like that, just seeing Pat retweeting something Matt said every once and a while would be enough for the pain to fully heal.
I still wonder what really happened, because it all started after that tweet from Pat and then Matt's wife replied, so things probably got quite ugly.

One of my favorite moments to this day was one of their super old machinima videos. I forget which lets play it was but matt and pat are in an abandoned orphanage and come across a stage. Right away Pat says, "Oh hey it's a school play.... for the orphans... How fucked is that?! Hey orphans, put on a school play for the parents you don't have!"

sandra doyle I don't dislike him a lot but he's definitely always been my least favourite member. The way he acted about this whole situation wasn't super mature, which he admitted, but it just rubbed me the wrong way with how he talked to fans about it and regards everything.
8BITBASKIN he just always seemed like the „everyone has to be nice to me and accept/share my opinion“ kinda guy. Plus he was leaving because he needed „distance and time for his anxiety “ which seemingly means to become a streamer Immediately? Looked like he wanted to be unopposed .That is all just speculation of course. Don’t know the man, never will. Might be a great guy.Just saying he should never have gotten that gurren lagann box.
sandra doyle Yeah, I can't speak fully either, never met him, but his online personality isn't someone I really get into. It honestly seemed a lot like Liam didn't really fit well since we had loud funny Matt, loud angry Pat, and chill hype Woolie covering most bases and he was just there on the channel most of the time.
@@8BITBASKIN Lets not forget Liam bailed right after Matt took his first break from the channel due to stress. Not only pressuring him to come back before he was ready but also putting a lot of stress on Woolie and Pat who now had to make all the videos themselves. The worst possible timing and a real dick move. That single act says more about his true character than anything else he ever did.

None of us were. We knew what was potentially gonna happen for a while already, but deep down we were still not ready for any of this. We still hoped that things would get better even if it meant that they would took a brief break from the stress of maintaining the channel.
Going to miss it all.
Seeing Woolie open the door to greet us and invite us in during the Fisticuffs opening is what brought back many good memories to the fans of when they held their own gaming get togethers.
Even though it's going to take a huge miracle for it to happen, the fans are going to be hoping and waiting for you guys to reconcile and return, friends. Even if it doesn't end in the revival of the channel we're still hoping you guys will be friends again.
We'll never forget you guys and how you were there to bring light to our dark lives and help us all out during our harder times by putting out videos with hilarity and fuckery galore. We're proud of all the hard work and heart you guys put into your videos. Most of all, we're honored and proud to have you guys be our Super Best Friends.

God, I remember seeing the Skyrim video in middle school and laughing my ass off at "I drop down on tiny silent spider feet". I hadn't thought about it in ages and now the memories are flooding back and I'm laughing my ass off again. Really aches the heart knowing they're not friends.

Been taking a break from cutting podcast parts due to work pilling up and when I saw that sbfp was breaking up filled me with sadness. It was fun while it lasted!

years ago If you told me some people I never met before who stopped being friends would break my heart, I would never have believed you. I feel like deep down I hoped they would make videos together forever but sometimes that's just not possible, and people have to go their separate ways. I'm so glad that people are posting videos like this one talking about the channel and keeping it alive for just a little bit longer.
A great video all around, I love it. Really good job helping to honour their legacy like this. It's sad to see that it all had to come to an end like this, but we'll always have the memories

Matt and pat are no longer friends and apparently haven't been for a while. They all have their own channels and work, and the podcast continues as Castle Superbeast. Don't listen to the butthurt masses, they made their decision like adults, we respect them like adults. they don't owe us anything. Matt and Pat, the ORIGINAL Best Friends are NO LONGER best friends. Matt was the HOST of the whole channel. It's easier for them to split off and do their own content now, which they are doing and all their fans are all following them individually now.
They aren't "Crying" you absolute buffoon, they are moving on from a brand that now makes no sense. What, is Matt and Woolie or Pat and Woolie supposed to just do vids now and that's it? No. Just end it and have the people go on and follow the ones they want.
