I didn't know what does a "light song" means until I listend to Popcorn,it's so light,happy and make me feel I'm floating on the clouds . Popcorn i feel like he sounds very different from his previous albums, his tone and approach actually sounds very different to me. This genre is not really what we found in Empathy and Expectation, that’s why I am really looking forward to Blossom. Kyungsoo said in an interview, this album is about growth and he wants listeners and himself as well to feel “sturdy” strong, and he has said before he has always wanted to make songs that listeners can feel comfort in. He hates flashy things, prefers everything to be simple and efficient, which seems so absurd being a kpop artist and an extremely successful one at that 😂 It’s amazing that he can flourish as himself in an industry where it ‘s all about being trendy, gimmicky, being viral, etc.
