We are growing them because they will grow quickly, provide summer shade to the sun side of our home, and produce a lot of food for our honeybees. I know they are a "weed" in other areas, but we feel confident about growing them.

How did them acorns do? A year has gone by and can't find any updates, so I assume they died. Should have covered em with some soil.......
