Very noisy outside. A balcony, lanai and patio - what is the difference? A walkway, stairway, breezeway - what is the difference?
Are you guys reading my mind ?? Because whenever I wonder about the difference between two similar words you make a video about it !! This is unbelievable!! I can never thank you enough ❤ Kevin and Lisa you are the best ❤❤❤
Story, not stories.
But, is it OK for me to say 98 above-ground stories building?
Thanks for the video Kevin, do you know about a good course a could take to enhance my speaking, I would like to take some intensive course, or do you give private lessons? I would be interested
-"She leaned against the guard rail, talking on the phone."
-"I'm not a fooll to lean over this."
-"This was a very high building it had thirty three floors."
-"This is a two story building, as you might see."
Thank you very much!
Best regards to you and your country, from Ukraine
This is a ten story building . I live on the tenth floor.
I have a question..Guardrail the material should be from cement or steel? Coz as we know we have 2 kind of Guardrail
Hello teachers ....story or storey ??? If story , how do we clear up confusion between story ( a piece of information) and story ( floor ) ? Thank you in advance 🙂
Thanks for this video. I`m from Ukraine and I`d like to clarify something that is not entirely clear to me. Sorry in advance for my bad English.
1) What is the difference between the word "guardrail" and the word "handrail"? Does a guardrail mainly intend for a balcony or an observation deck to protect people from falling down? Does a handrails mainly intend for a stairs or a hiking trail to support for the arms?
2) Why do you write "guard" and "rail" together? For example, Wikipedia and the Cambridge Dictionary say these two words separately.
Thank you very much for your answers.
Sir I am confused. It's spelling story or storey. You have written story in place of storey.
Story? Not Storey?
story
British English - storey, American - story
@@Maggie-yj1hn I got it.
Wait
Isn't a four-story building spelled as a four-storey building? Or am I wrong?
