this unit looks great, would have been great to see fullsized pitch faders and 8 physical pads as i would have no use for the inbuilt speakers, still a great unit no doubt, im sure there will be people very interested
shift key! most times we dont use 8pads anyway. the pitch can be minus plus in the program just like serato. its not a deal breaker. enginedj is a game changer for $600 for real

But to be honest forget the gimmicks..7" hi-res touchscreen, Engine Software (whoever suggested that on the team @ Numark deserves a HUGE raise) AND streaming from beatport etc...its an absolute steal, its ridiculous tbh, you'd think it was an introductory price !! it does look a bit odd with only 4 pads, but then think, really think... how many time have you really used more than 4 hot q's/q points
Why are the Play/Pause, Cue, and Sync letters so cartoonishly big lmao. On a side note, for a budget dj, someone whos just starting, or doing small house party type gigs, this is incredible for the value (minus the gimmicks). 7 Inch touchscreen? Certainly did not have that on my mixtrack pro(2010) when i was first starting. The next step above this would be hitting the $1000usd range with the cheapest being the Denon Prime Go.
i want to love this, but i cant, without 8 pads and 4 eq sliders, i think ill hold out for that version? beyond that though this is fantastic, in software update id like to see more built in effects though also if possible, i have the mixtrack platinum fx and use it daily, glad you re-added the effect paddles.

Is it possible to have memory cues with the Numark Mixstream Pro & Rekordbox? I have the DDJ-400 now, and it's impossible on the DDJ-400. Would be an huge advantage to buy a Numark Mixtream Pro.
To start out? I started with DDJ SB3, REV1 is similar but layout is different. Haven’t messed with FLX4, I just upgraded to the Mixstream pro+ because my SB3 didn’t work. I didn’t want the REV1 because I didn’t like the layout and it was too similiar to what I had before. ❤

super neat, i personally would have liked to see 8 fx pads instead of the built in speakers, but it is still cool to see a more standalone option!
Same, in addition I would chose a bigger pitch and a different position for the EQ knobs they look a little bit uncomfortable

I prefer it this way. No need for 8 pads, but speakers are nice for spontaneous practice without setting up speakers.

It's all about the skills, not th gear! It is still a good entry-level model or a good low-cost alternative to Denon DJ Prime Go
