super neat, i personally would have liked to see 8 fx pads instead of the built in speakers, but it is still cool to see a more standalone option!
Same, in addition I would chose a bigger pitch and a different position for the EQ knobs they look a little bit uncomfortable
It's a step in the right direction. DJ Controllers with high-quality screens are going to be the future!
ye lmao why they thought built in speakers was a good idea idk. Especially since speakers are pretty cheap and you'll need em for gigs anyway aha
@@elliott7198 I have this mixer and the built in speakers are actually pretty good for solo bedroom use, fucking around when you cant be too loud

I've been doing some research and so far this is the best one I found. I want to get back into dj'n since it been almost 10 years. Omg he made all that look so easy. Good work and maybe I can learn a lot from DJ Lawrence 💯🙌🏾
this unit looks great, would have been great to see fullsized pitch faders and 8 physical pads as i would have no use for the inbuilt speakers, still a great unit no doubt, im sure there will be people very interested
shift key! most times we dont use 8pads anyway. the pitch can be minus plus in the program just like serato. its not a deal breaker. enginedj is a game changer for $600 for real
I prefer it this way. No need for 8 pads, but speakers are nice for spontaneous practice without setting up speakers.

A curiously cutesy machine with a few gimmicks. I can understand why though, as without them your heading directly into the Prime go territory. But to be honest forget the gimmicks..7" hi-res touchscreen, Engine Software (whoever suggested that on the team @ Numark deserves a HUGE raise) AND streaming from beatport etc...its an absolute steal, its ridiculous tbh, you'd think it was an introductory price !! it does look a bit odd with only 4 pads, but then think, really think... how many time have you really used more than 4 hot q's/q points

I just copped a Mixstream and this video inspired me!! Thanks Dj Lawrence, that was a dope routine. Creative use of the loops, and I didn’t even know you could change the tracks pitch on the fly like that.

Why are the Play/Pause, Cue, and Sync letters so cartoonishly big lmao.
On a side note, for a budget dj, someone whos just starting, or doing small house party type gigs, this is incredible for the value (minus the gimmicks). 7 Inch touchscreen? Certainly did not have that on my mixtrack pro(2010) when i was first starting. The next step above this would be hitting the $1000usd range with the cheapest being the Denon Prime Go.

And I’m not a big fan because of the way it was used with denon prime Series but Numark got right I must say!

beyond that though this is fantastic, in software update id like to see more built in effects though also if possible,

They are dual layer though, so all eight pads can be accessed!
I bought the Prime Go for $890 but may return for Mixstream Pro (not Amazon version) for $480. I'm new to this world and after playing with the Go, I felt overwhelmed. It is a solid though. Jog wheels may be too small for scratching. I won't be a professional or anything. Just doing at home and maybe at work functions, etc.

To start out? I started with DDJ SB3, REV1 is similar but layout is different. Haven’t messed with FLX4, I just upgraded to the Mixstream pro+ because my SB3 didn’t work. I didn’t want the REV1 because I didn’t like the layout and it was too similiar to what I had before. ❤

Can I use this controller without a laptop or iPad? Reason being I struggled through the pandemic and had to sell my MacBook and my iPad Air and my controller… Soon, I can by gear again, but I’m wondering can I just buy this Numark all-in-one controller and use the songs I saved on my Samsung 1TB SSD?
It's all about the skills, not th gear! It is still a good entry-level model or a good low-cost alternative to Denon DJ Prime Go
What is the mic channel like
lots of cool features, but £499 when you're sacrificing basic features like performance pads and an actually useful tempo fader?
The tempo fader has a 4% range mode which makes the small size easier to deal with

Is it possible to have memory cues with the Numark Mixstream Pro & Rekordbox? I have the DDJ-400 now, and it's impossible on the DDJ-400. Would be an huge advantage to buy a Numark Mixtream Pro.
