I like the innovative vid concept. But just one niggling issue: the Rane One and Rev7 are unique for their spinning jogs. This video should illustrated this. As such, it should have been a turntablist/scratch/beat juggling gear battle. Best
Can we just all agree that they both competed just well and perfect and synced the perfect audio
Pioneer definitely has the looks. No lie. But, I think at a specific skill-point, you'll discover that there are just some features no matter how fancy you might never ever use in your sets.... I'm looking at the Rev7. The in-display screens are a definite selling point for me but, the size... I'm thinking my Rane One is heavy enough. Those extra dimensions definitely spell a bit of weight in my opinion. For now, I'll stick with the Rane One.
As far as weight I think the rev 7 is a little lighter cause they use a little more plastic Vs metal
I am no brand loyalist. I usually go with what resonates with who I am however, I feel that Rane has for the longest time been more loyal to turntablism than Pioneer DJ has. So, it’s Rane for me.

Planned on getting the Rane One, but since the Rev7 is coming, might have to wait… still trying to go with the best option other than price ..
Rane One owner here. Depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. Biggest difference is onboard effects. If it means a ton to you, wait. If not, you won’t be sorry with the Rane, I’m my opinion. I love it. It’s got it’s drawbacks, but the upside is high.
Also a Rane One owner.. before the Rev 7 my debate was the Rane or the SRT, after a lot of back and forth I went with the Rane for the moving platters and I love it.. the Rev 7 came out.. the battle style mixer layout and on board fx is the biggest difference between the two.. just waiting for the Rane response before I do anything (if I do anything)…
Rane one owner here also, yeh the only thing that is different is the the on board effects, the “battle mode” is definitely not necessary, also so is the visually display on the jog wheels. I love my rane one, it’s practically just two turntables and a mixer.

The only thinf keepin me from buying the rev7 is how muddy the scraching sounds compared the rane one. I have not seen 1 rev7 video where the scratching sounds good
