Favorite 80s - Star Wars, Battle Star Galactica, Transformers, Shogun Warriors
Sorry I missed the live stream, was at the pub watching the Liverpool vs Utd match!
A very chill yet thorough tour of your collection, thanks! (we were worried when you had skipped your Puzzletown display, but you caught it)
Go pee! When we get into our 50s, you got to respond quickly. Great collection man! I connected with your Kenner Star Wars, 6 Million Dollar Man, Evel Knivel, Sesame Street and Cereal characters. I was born in ‘69 so I started aging out of toys in the early 80s. Kept my Star Wars from childhood and am now adding to that collection- so much fun connecting to childhood memories. I really liked what you said about using collecting to help maintain some control and help with anxiety- great thoughts! You helped realize why I collect. My wife agrees with that.
Wonderful tour 🙂 My Kenner Star Wars figures were the only toys I kept from my childhood. Love the Retro line and looking forward to future releases both OT and new series and movies 🙂
In Australia, we had the Wombles and Mr Men on our public TV channel , loved it. So yeah, we got all the Sesame St, Paddington, Wombles, Muppets etc on TV and Asterix and Tintin comics. Share your passion but I can only collect one line, and that is TVC.
Fantastic tour, amazing collection, so many toys from my youth too.
Seeing the Asterix & Obelix books took me straight back to being a kid sitting in the comfy chairs in the library reading these and being told off for laughing too loud. 😂
Thanks for the nostalgia hit.
You are most welcome! Glad you enjoyed
Great livestream, & a fantastic eclectic mix of collectibles. It must of been good because my wife sat & watched it with me. I think it gave my wife some understanding of why I collect & got her reminiscing about her Sindy dolls. Thank you so much for sharing & a great evenings viewing. Until your next video I will for now bugger off😊
Love that your good lady watched it too. Hope it helped the cause! 😉🙌🏻
I had the Adventure People Motorcycle and side car too. I still have the motorcycle in a box somewhere in my garage but it's pretty beat up
I was definitely spoilt! Born in 77 and had these lines amongst others..
Star Wars
Masters of the Universe
Transformers
M.A.S.K
Action Force
Gi Joe
Asterix
Smurfs
Micronaughts - older brothers
Action Man
A-Team
Real Ghostbusters
Secret Wars
Space LEGO
Battlestar Galactica
MUSCLES
Was done with toys after M.A.S.K but got back into Star Wars age 36 and then MOTU Origins
Fascinating and very enjoyable. Lots and lots of overlaps with my own life, 51 year old Graphics teacher in the UK (the Citadel ‘ogre’ is a troll 🤫)
Ahhh yes! Tip of my tongue
Fantastic Grand tour! I really love the message at the end. Wonderful collection! Timeless classics are important historical pieces in my opinion and it has your signature class and thoughtfulness in the curation. Cheese Mate.
Is Eric stepping into the Forest of Doom some kind of hidden Easter Egg? 😂
I feel there is a story in there…
There’s always a story…
@@themrstevie18 don’t attack the wizard at the start, remember you have 3 fingers you can use as auto saves to go back and change your choice if it doesn’t work out, but most importantly YOU are the hero.
Interesting to hear your stories and your perspective on collecting. It makes a counter argument against the idea that "collecting is just more organised hoarding."
Will everything in TVC for 2025 be tied to Return to Tatooine or just some of the releases? Hoping we don't go another year without any of the main Bad Batch crew being at least pipelined.
Thanks for all your work.
Not everything will be RTT -
@themrstevie18 Thanks for replying!
Something I’ve never been able to find is an LCD two player game I had called Shootout - one player was a bank robber on one side and the other was a police man on the other side - played it loads with my brother! Never seen it again despite googling and searching eBay - weird!
Was it only a LCD game or did it use a board game element too?
@@themrstevie18 purely lcd - like a Konami sort of thing? Each player sat each side of it so it was duel screened. I’ll keep searching haha! Loved the video Steve. Also remembered Black Star and Dungeon and dragons lines - those were great too
