From the golden era of pub rock in Oz and those of us who were lucky enough to be there didn't realise how good we had it, particularly in Sydney and Melbourne. Need that time machine - a short detour to pick up last weeks Powerball winnings then it's straight back to 1978 ;)
Fuck yeah,seen the Tatts and the Angels more times than I can remember, {for obvious reasons} those were the days...!!!!
The little things we take for granted. My mother in law used to see AC/DC at the old Ringwood ice skating rink here in Melbourne back before they blew up.

Still a fkn great song after 40 fkn years....I count myself lucky as i got the Tri-Fecta....saw Buffalo at the Leederville Hotel AND had a beer with Peter Wells at the bar....saw Angry with Buster Brown at the Leedy also and saw the Tatts on the back of this single in 78 at I think the Raffles GOD BLESS YEZ ALL FELLAZ!!!! luv peace an Rock N Roll!!!!

Wow! You're one lucky dude , would ve given anything to have seen the original Buffalo back in the day and even Rose Tattoo in '78 when their 1st album came out but it was just a bit before my time.
Made it up soon after with Saracen at the Raffles and City Hotel, the Tatts in '83 at the infamous Old Melb. Htl shows and Motorhead in '84 at the Noonkanbah and white Sands Hotel.

Ian Rilen masterpiece
One of the best band I've seen live. Never been a big Aussie rock fan, apart from Bon Scott, but I saw these guys supporting ZZTop a few years back in Perth - they blew ZZ Top away.. They rocked out like they were 21 years old. Nice work. I do a cover of this in one of my bands and iit always puts a smile on my face.
Rock 'n' roll gods!!! I did a support for these guys back in the '80s. Awesome band!

This was written by Ian Rilen. And this band was 100% fully fuckin endorsed by Bon Scott and Angus Young themselves to the point where they'd get up on stage with them to rock n roll. I wish I was around for the Bondi Lifesaver Club days.
@foot bru We used to go see X twice a week- everyone in Punk, Hard Rock bands in Melbourne LOVED X. We used to call them "The best band in the whole world ever" I used to work at the Espy in those days- so we would be dancing and pouring beers at the same time. Phil and Dougie with "Spot the Aussie" were awesome too- Phil plays Jimmi with his teef lol Fun days.
Bon was seeing the chick who later played bass for Do ReMi in those days

Still love this 37 years after I first heard it. Australia's got some great music, your cars are good too. Beer & TV shows are rubbish though!
Lol, I can't say much for our beer cos I don't drink alcohol (I guess that sort of thing is an acquired taste, and each countrie's beer has a different taste). As for our tv shows, most of them are reality bullshit, and the sitcoms and dramas aren't that great either.

⚡️No band owns the cords or notes. I love both bands, DC came first but they sound the same because vanda and young produced both bands work in the late 70s, when both were in their pomp. Music is an evolving beast, it is all traced back to the blues and the beat of the drum after all. All my favourite songs involve an A cord, NO ONE OWNS CORDS⚡️
