My brother David passed away a month and a half ago and he turned me on to this band when I was a little boy. I Miss him so much.
RIP your brother was cool AF
My condoleances.
I am so sorry for your loss . I hope the day will come when you think of your brother you will smile .
Hello! Trata de no estar triste..... Tu hermano está bien.... Y el día del reencuentro sonará Rose Tattoo!! Abrazo del alma!!!
God bless you
ROSE TATTOO , MOTÖRHEAD - & ACDC was my Homework after school in the 80s , Thanks for the REAL - LEGENDARY - TIMELESS MUSIC that helped me through my LIFE !! ROSE TATTOO FOREVER !! Prost from Germany !!
And don't forget Thin Lizzy. 😉
Tatts Forever ❤
As a kid in Oz this band was furkn awesome.
I saw Rose Tattoo support Motörhead in 2009 or 2010 in Sydney. I was sick as a dog and both blew me away.
DA GIBT'S NICHTS HINZUZUFÜGEN
I'm a 12 year old Aussie and love rose tatto
tattoo* You have great taste in music young man.
Keep on rocking.😊
Probably the coolest kat in town. Oi!!
Good boy.....
Forever outside the law
Just love that sound of the boys its real deep southern and slide to beat, brilliant and more brilliant loud!!!!
You mean deep southern as in Sydney, Australia, right?
Here in Canada I can't believe how many die hard ACDC fans have no idea who this band is! I have turned so many people onto them because nice boys don't play rock and roll!
Get onto The Angels too mate, I reckon they might be called Angel City in Canada
@@seanfoster6320Face to Face what an album
Maybe for those that aren't Aussie, this was our staple diet growing up
Angry Anderson (Rose Tattoo) and Phil Rudd (AC/DC) were both in Buster Brown - Rudd left to join AC/DC Buster Brown morphed into Rose Tattoo got to see some pretty outrageous lineups in the mid 80's starting with John Meyer - but i do love Pete Wells - also Mark Evans the original AC/DC bass player is now with Rose Tattoo also also Rose Tattoo spent a fair bit of time in the US with the early GNR if you hunt you will find Slash turning up at Tatt's gigs
GnR covered one of their songs years ago decent band I just happen to think AC/DC is better
I used to live next door to this young Greek long hair skateboarder who would always play Rose tattoo and Kiss in his panel van. He was the one that got me into growing my hair long and listening to rose tattoo, kiss AC/DC and venom.
You know the bassist was in AC/DC in the 70s
awesome music mate 🍻
Cool story
Hey Alfaman. Like what else happened man. ? YA DIG.
Sound like a right bloke mate.
I was totally surprised by this video on UA-cam I thought I was the only person that had ever heard of this band in North Carolina I found the cassette in 85 I love Sydney Girls and scarred for life
" This is what I call Rock & Roll! Balls out music!!!
Zactly
Yeah rock-'n'-roll till I die
Yeah Man !!!! 😊🤘🏼
You're right 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The older we are, the better this music is
You're so right 👍
WE
This was awesome in 1978.....
And even better today !
THAT ain't no sh1t.
Great breeding .....and using new shit for more fertillizer
Pete Wells.Legend on the slide.
R.I.P 🎸
I think everyone in this band is dead. Everyone except Angry.
@riprex2072 Even loved him playing bass for Buffalo.
Great Aussie band from back in the day..... RIP Mick Cocks, Dallas Digger Royale and big Pete Wells.... they were the real deal folks...
So true ❤
You've overlooked Ian Rilen their Bassist and Songwriter 1947 - 2006
Absolutely phenomenal band to see live. And bloody loud as all hell. Brilliant!
There'll never be another band like the Rosy Tatts.
T.F.F.T.
wings @ currie st adelaide early days ....Bridgeway Hotel ...were pretty loud , broke records I believe
the Tatts , the Angels and AcDc all hard the sharp AF guitar sound courtesy of Alberts Studios , great producers led by Vanda and Young were key in getting it right
POTENCIA, SENSACIONAL. VOZ PERFECTA PARA EL OBJETIVO FINAL.
@@coopsawright7225 everybody need lookouts
Malcolm and Angus had an older brother
The whole family was musically strong , including Bon ( his dad played bagpipes)
Harry vanda
Saw them when i was a Kid, they opened for Nazareth and Areosmith at Maple Leaf Gardens Toronto. they were the best band of the three.
Wouldn’t be hard with those 2 gay bands
Great bill. Jealous. Man, that's so cool. Seriously.
@@dischargesummary8794 listen to Razamanaz or Toys in the Attic. not gay at all. those bands had a great run
Damm that would be a badass show

Killer tune that never loses it's appeal.
Right on
Ian Rilen their Bassist and Songwriter 1947 - 2006
Ian was also a pioneering member of legendary Band 'X'
RIP Mick Cocks, Dallas Digger Royale, Pete Wells & Lobby Lloyde.
That's a lot of members for one Band to lose.
Lobby was a legend in his own right with the Coloured Balls and Wild Cherries and
Billy Thorpe and The Aztecs.
Lobby's list of Production credits is one of the most impressive lists in Australian history.
Sunnyboys, Machinations, Sardine V, Flaming Hands, Models, Painters and Dockers,
Buster Brown, just to name several.
The Australian X I'm guessing
A lot of great bands there< mate... from Canada, we loved Rose Tattoo. Colored Balls, Lobby, Billy and Bon's AC DC.
One of the best rock'n'roll songs ever ✊️
I saw Rose Tattoo at the old Marquee in Soho London at the beginning of the eighties. I was right up against the stage and was leaping about so much the lead vocalist wiped my baldie head with a towel!
Been a fan of Rose Tattoo since 1980...these guys always delivered great rock n roll 🎉😊
man we only get one life i grew up in australia from 1967 till 2021 the music scene was unreal loved every minute of life in oz so many great ozzy bands to watch every night today im 62 living in cyprus this music brings back my memories and sometimes i cry not being able to live it again love every human who understands the meaning of life
I Saw these guys open for Aerosmith and Pat Travers at Hara Arena, Dayton, OH, Dec 1, 1982. WOW! I was 16. Definitely the good 'ol days.
Thank You for posting!
I'm 57, never heard of em. This is gold

I think the original singer, yes 40 years later I think it's the little bald guy, but then I call my granddaughter by her aunt's name more often than not 😔
56 and thinking the same…
Saw Rose Tattoo open for Black Sabbath 1980 Capitol Theater Sydney. Fantastic !
To think that your biggest problem with living in Sydney back in the 70's & 80's was which band to go and see nearly any night of the week
@@lukebourke9241 same as Melbourne, any Friday night we had inxs, baby animals, chisel, uncanny X-Men, pseudo echo, hoodoo gurus and all for $20
The blues rock style and chops with punk/pub rock attitude, best of both worlds
when this song came on the radio back then all my buddies at work stopped everything, broke out our air instruments and ripped it up! great times!

Remember watching them at a club at the Chevron in Kings Cross back in the mid 80's and Angry was so smashed he sang about 3 songs and collapsed. Too much JD!
Good honest ROCK'N'ROLL.
Rose Tattoo were brilliant, seeing them play live was always a good time.
Maybe I caught them on a bad night.
Classiest true rock band. Immense songwriting chops and performance power.
Chefs d'œuvre absolu 👍 immense 👍 la dégaine du Mec j'aime trop et la voix Top 👍🌹🥂
Je pensais être le seul français à me souvenir de ce groupe . Eh bien non ! Ça fait plaisir frérot
One of the greatest debut albums ever released by an Australian hard rock band - sublime! \m/
First 2 albums are fucking perfect. 🔥🔥🔥
Don't forget Scarred for Life, also magic!
Are they Aussies??!! 😮👍
Yes they are Australian too, veterans from the late 70's - they were around at the same time as AC/DC (Bon Scott era) and The Angels (known as Angel City overseas markets)!
@@dmcgarvey956 The singer's name is Angry Anderson and he's still a mid-level celebrity in Australia to this day, didn't consider until now that the rest of the world wouldn't even know who he is haha.
Yes Rose Tattoo and
The Angels Over Here
They Where Angel City
…..Angry Anderson
Great Voice
Cheers 🍻 Mates
Use to see Rose Tattoo & the Angels back in the day at Festival Hall ..
just Awesome & good memories 🎉🎉🎉
As a 70s kid,I miss the days of pool and pinnies at the milkbar after school
Favourite pinnie?
Brilliant band. Assault And Battery is a great album and should be familiar to any serious rock fan.
Agree totally. They were a seriously down n dirty Rock Band.
Mother's milk and R.T. equally good for you inside
@stixmaclennan9660 Man I totally agree! It's the one I first heard, got it in Singapore, it was a obvious Bootleg and even had ACDC printed on the original cover. I realized early on in '82 this was what fucking Rock and Roll was really all about!!! Not that I didn't know, lolo, but hopefully you know what i mean. These guys were no frills straight ahead hard rock and I grew to love it.

Used to see them as often as possible during the 70's and early 80's one of the greatest rock n roll bands to see live.
Caught a session, in the "OLD MELBOURNE HOTEL".. In Perth...i was 18..
Very underrated. You can hear some of their influence in Guns 'n' Roses and some of the other 80's rock.
Their sound is good, but completely unoriginal. You can't really say it is "their" sound influencing GNR.
Só pelo fato do GNR ter regravado Nice Boys?
@@t.j.c2357 Slash has said many times that he was a huge fan of Rose Tattoo growing up.
Free New year eve concert on the Opera House steps.Had the very best Australian .Rose Tattoo were the loudest and one of the best that played there.👍
I Simply Love It!! 😍❤ Why have I never heard this?! I am 61.
Are you from America
I never heard of them after they got kicked off the Aerosmith tour back in the day

Awesome song, awesome band! My band had the huge honour of playing with these guys many years ago at the Old Melbourne Hotel in Western Australia. Good times! :)
I still love this as much as I did when it was released.

What a gem. Seriously Cool it's a terrific song & the low rent video makes it even better
Nostalgia! Great Band and underrated!
Brilliant. I saw them at the Playroom on the Gold Coast in Queensland in the late 70’s and couldn’t hear for 3 days after the gig. A great, straight ahead Aussie rock band.
So good !
geile band, klasse musik, ich bin deiner meinung und finde die antwort grandios pelle......
Great band ,never a poor mans anything ,a band in their own right .
Découvert en 1978, quand j’avais 11 ans ! En même temps que Motorhead… ma vie en fut changée à tout jamais 🤘🎸😎
Heard of these guys years ago, a few years before Mad max 3, but never listened to any of their stuff. I need something new to listen to and I think I've just found it! Don't wait up....I might be quite some time. Thank you nzoz1978, consider this your good deed for the day!
Salute! We saw them somewhere,I think it was w Riot opening for Black Sabbath, but always recall it was a fun rockin set
BEAUTIFUL
Love the bluesy groove...
Great straight-ahead rock 'n roll, with a great groove. Love it.
how good is this!!!!!!!
Tattoo gigs were always one of the best, I still remember the days when you'd get Rose Tattoo, Midnight Oil, The Radiator's, The Diviynls and Spy vs Spy at the same pub on the same night. It was sure fire guarantee at least 15% of the crowd were going home with a few teeth missing, especially after the after show fight in the carpark....what a time be a 17 year old underage drinker...i miss LIVE music venues and the fights they brought to the table....hungover, black and blue and sore was a right of passage on Sunday mornings in the early 80's in Australia.
That singer may be small but he's got a BIG voice, love it!
what great music, nice and heavy

Bad Boy For Love put Rose Tattoo on the map,But the song that defines them,is Rock'n'Roll Outlaw.I just love this band.
Luv Angry and the Tatts....Brings back heaps of great memories
Wow! I only ever knew of the cover version by Keel, which I heard off the soundtrack for the obscure movie "Dudes". Love it!! Like when I found out The Arrows originally did "I Love Rock n' Roll".
YAYYYYYY! Love ya, Stew! DUDES, I saw that in the 80's n forgot the movie but remembered this song even now in 2022.
Iconic band!!!!powerfull.
I saw them when they supported Rainbow in 81. Great band.
never heard of em, but love it. awesome
Check out more of their music. Especially their first 2 albums. Play loud. Play drunk. Aussie pub rock of the 70s and 80s is unmatched.
I was listening to Rose Tattoo in the early 80s as a Canadian teenager, living in Germany.

Brilliant song and great drums easy kit.all ya need.i love this song for some reason,I just listening to it.im gonna play this song with our band to keep it alive and I got high voice also. Love your band
Tatts. The toughest Aussie band. Roadied for them. RIP Mr Wells. 🙏🎸✌️🤘⚖️🇦🇺
This, Love Gun, and Hair of the dog were my favorites when I were my favorite albums when I was like 12. And NONE of them could (would?) be played on the radio.
Man the groove,legends.
So tight, but loose.
Banger, saw these guys at Reading Festival and they were awesome, 1982 I think
What a song.
The singer’s voice is just right for the song. He’s not trying too hard, he’s not being overly theatrical, just delivering the lyrics with controlled aggression.
RIP Liam, your memory brought me here. God bless....
How have I never heard of these guys?!
And Gary's voice❤
just watched the ted albert documentary got a whole lot of rabbit hole time with those bands
I remember this band and this song... I'm in the u.s. so I guess they made some headway over here.
