I wanted to tell you that this video changed me, I found it by accident and it made me realize that I wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle and live these adventures. 6 months after you posted it I got my license and a bit later bought my own bike. Every now and then I revisit this video and it doesn't get old...
this is singularly the one video that has me smiling from ear to ear and truly decide "I WILL DO THIS!!!" Thank you, for helping me make up my mind just thank you
A masterpiece! Don't know how long it took you to edit this one but bloody hell, I want to leave tomorrow and be there!! Great job, music, images, footage... all came together to make this a fabulous viewing experience. Keep up the good work.
Wow Pedro just bloody WOW! That's one of, if not the best I've seen. It had everything, staggering views, incredible camping spots, you and Alp having the time of your lives. Oh and Alp got tired and lay down; mine does that too ;-) Ride safe.
My dear friend, I admire your determination to carry on in your journey, in the last part of the video the effort made was evident... What an incredible views, beautiful landscapes!!! One of your best videos ever!!!
Gracias amigo! It was a good effort. At the homestay in Karakul they had to pick me up off the floor and put me in front of a table to eat and drink something.
I think there should be a 'Love' button for your videos, a 'like' does not simply do it justice. Your attitude is awesome and love what you're doing! Ride safe bud.
Damn son that is awesome! Still got 20K worth of Oz footage to get to. Hobo tent life, campfire bliss with not a soul around. Hard work at times. Looking back I wish I'd traveled lighter, that the bike was in better condition and that I planned more offroad. Regardless still a great ride. Have an absolute blast mate and watch out for those bloody Emu's, they're not right in the head. And remember that bore water can only give you the shits once, after that it's as good as spring water. What's your ride?
‘Bore water can only mess with you once’ 😂 that’s hilarious - I bought a BMW (yes I know) 1200GSA because that’s what I ‘thought’ I wanted. I wish I bought lighter and cheaper but hey, I got it now. I’m 35 year old tradie from Perth and have planned this for like 5 years man - such a commitment to drop everything and run! Daydreaming of the campfires and tent-life. I think there’s no other way to do it ay - and plenty of offroad. The tropical north Queensland is where it’s at! Look forward to seeing your next episode man - again, you’re a legend
@@kickenplaysfps2224 Sounds awesome mate, how did you go? I want to do the same. Maybe a KTM 1090/1290 but not sure. Going to plan and save for the next 5 years. Lots I want to do in between.
Pamir Highway the ultimate goal. What an amazing place ;) Thanks for sharing Pedro. This summer i begin with Turkey........if we are allowed to do something !
One of the best video series i have seen the last 3 years Pedro. Great shoots, great stories, amazing adventure...and we cant wait to ride this way to.. Incredible inspirational indeed. From Norway 🇳🇴
I have rewatched this, still blown away! Pedro, I hope you are watching these now and then! This is one of my favorites❤️❤️❤️ You are in Bolivia now! What do you think about that?!? You are amazing
WOW!! just WOW!! What a place. To experience that must have been the reason to do the ride in first place. Sounds and looks like it lived up to your expectations.
Nice ride, Pedro! Personally, I dont know how you managed with the fuel in those wild and lonely mountains, but every single leg was definitely a challenge to be remembered forever! Just great!
That was a really rough ride - one of the best that I have seen. Great scenery and water crossings. Wish the audio had been more consistent, try to speak into the mic if possible.
Incrível Pedro ! You are definitely one of the crazies! Que haja sempre caminhos por alcatrar ... Gostava de sabêr como estas experiências influenciaram a tua perspectiva do mundo .
pretty cool. I'd maybe give some more seconds when you interact with people along the way but that's just me. beautiful rides up there. keep them comin'
Gracias! Truth is I was recording randomly back then and a lot of times would turn the camera off when meeting people ha. That clip with the family is pretty rare and only lasts for another 5 seconds. How things have changed. It's nice to include other people. Same with photos. Looking at pictures now most of the landscape ones have no impact but the few ones of people are some of my favorite shots.
Nice journey Pedro, wonderful places, also nice Riding... (HOW you made it my Friend, without ABS,ESA,LAUNCH CONTROL, RIDING MODES,FULL ELECTR.SPECS & 1.200 cc ,...........it must be realy tragical & Dangerus !!!) Ha Ha Ha!!
Amazing video!! I also want to the Pamir and I assume you recommend me to do the Bartang Valley, but how many days did you need from the entry point of Bartang Valley to the end at Karakul Lake?
Hi Pedro, I am now in Turkey towards central Asia and hoping to arrive in Tajikistan mid August. I wanted to ask you, how many days did you invest to do the Bartang Valley, and for Tayikistan in general? Thanks in advance man! Amazing video by the way, loved it!
Beautiful video. How much video recording were you doing per day. Did you have the camera recording the whole time or only on bits of the road. Then how did you manage battery and power ?? What are you using ? Go Pro ?
Working on a video where I talk a bit about that. I shoot in bursts mostly: 95% of the time no point in shooting more than 10sec. Back then this was the most I'd ever shot which needs no explanation. I'd say at least a couple of shots every hour and I actually forced myself to shoot less. Charged the cameras through the 12v connector on the motorcycle while riding. Charged the laptop once in a tiny village at a house with a solar panel. GoPro 3+ black and a basic point and shoot 720p camera.
Pedro Mota great. Thank. Honestly I never been a fan of Go Pro. Never had one and everyone I know who has one had issues getting then to be reliable. Ive had a Replay XD which was great. Until the battery died after a couple year . Currently using. Sena Prism which i think overall is very good but battery life sucks and is not an easy camera to keep wired while in use. Look forward to your video on this topic
But wait there's more travel episodes, a whole series, from the beginning?

I told her not to that anymore before breakfast! Though she was working real hard. Cheers man, special place, special experience.
This one of the best ADV videos I've seen. You really captured the feeling of riding there! Well done! More great miles for you and Alp ahead! 👍

Tajikistan, wow! What a beautiful country! That ride was amazing. Wow!
Phenomenal journey bro. Glad you made it in one piece. 🙏🏼🥳
Another awesome video. That road looked pretty challenging in parts!
Cheers, hard work at times hauling that big ass. Hairiest bits though was the soft sand at times which I'd only begin to master in Mongolia.
Pamir Highway the ultimate goal. What an amazing place ;) Thanks for sharing Pedro. This summer i begin with Turkey........if we are allowed to do something !
Great video Pedro. Good luck to you on your adventures and wish you great success.

Ain't that the truth
Amazing trip

Good effort. Good tunes
Really enjoyed the video. ☺️
Amazing places. Thanks for sharing this.
Could you or someone tell what music are used in this video?
Darryl in Texas. You’ve obviously done this for years. Do you ever fore see a time when the full time travel comes to an end?
Wonderful
What is the first long song? Pure magic your videos.....love the songs, need the titels.....keep up your positive high energy life.
Great to hear mate! First tune is Tomas Skyldeberg - Stories From Dreams 1, second Tomas Skyldeberg - Crystal Kid 3. Enjoy!

Sure !! Go Ahead!!
spectacular views!!!!!
Amazing video!! I also want to the Pamir and I assume you recommend me to do the Bartang Valley, but how many days did you need from the entry point of Bartang Valley to the end at Karakul Lake?
It's about 300km, 330km or so to Karakul. You can do it in a day, it spent two nights there. Absolutely
lol I'd be sweet talking to my bike up that cliff too O__O
First time watching your vids. Simply stunning. One question thou... how did you get gas for your bike?
Stop in villages and ask. In Mongolia I once stopped a car and asked if I could syphon some fuel.
Long live the Transalp!
Me ha encantado tu video y conocer tu canal, tienes un suscriptor más!
Wonderfull place with nice people . You are just near the hymalayan mountain No?
Pamirs are just around the western Himalayan corner. Would be nice if in the future China opens up more and you can ride the Chinese side with ease.
Respect
Awesome video.
Now just a Dream for me. "Would have, Could have, Should have."
Thanks again absolutely fantastic video wonder what you do for money to your bike bike ever break down can't always be good times

can you ride these terrains with not knoby tires? Like for example with stock kawasaki versys 300?
17:17 OMG!!!😳😳😳 this is fuc*** mars!?😱
That was truly awesome. What month did you ride thru there? I am sure it is critical to be there during low water.
Thank you for the great video! Which tyres and which navigation system you prefer?
Tajikistan 🇹🇯✌️❤️
