Boating gives me anxiety. Started boating three years ago when i turned 57. Still figuring crap out but it's starting to get easier. Havne't dropped it in yet without the plug but i did drive an hour to a launch, dropped it in and found out i had a blown starter. Pulled it out and drove home. Always run the boat in your laneway before driving to the launch. Learned that much. Love this channel. great work Alfred. Canada loves ya.

it's a 25' Safe Boat. It is the "B" variant that was the most Common Fast Response model produced, capable of almost 55MPH.
This is no longer used by the CG and is bein g replaced by the 29" metal Shark.

@@AlfredMontaner Amazon, there is a custom flag shop, the prices aren't too bad. Also check local shirt printing companies, some do flags as well!
If you haven't already done one I'd love to see a compilation "Bloop Bloop Bloop" special about a couple hours long. Then a nice pinball compilation special as well. I'd bet you have plenty of footage to do a couple videos dedicated to those 2 subjects. And I'd bet I'm not the only one that would love to see them.

At the 24:30 point in the video, yes that’s a SAFE boat, it looks like it has a slightly larger house on it compared to the USCG 25RBS so it makes the boat look shorter, I worked for SAFE for almost 10 years

0:00 dude is clueless about outboards, and steering boats, backing in circles before ramming the dock with the motors. speaking of ramming, the two ladies on board have some nice firm bumpers 😛
The sailboat can dock with 1 approach using a very small auxillary outboard motor but these big multi engine boats with 6 people onboard cannot make it to dock after multiple attempts; maybe the guy in the sailboat needs to hold classes.

It amazes me how these tow guys effortlessly pull up to dock a disabled boat. Whilst you got people struggling to dock their own boat.

Where I live, this place would be considered the largest and easiest place to dock in the area. It’s extremely wide, with multiple docks. Worst captains in the world must congregate here lol.
What confuses many of the new Captains are the 3 currents we have here, incoming tidal current, the outgoing tidal current and when the Flood Gates are open just up the creek, no river. When the Flood Gates are open, we have close to a 10 knot current. :(

@@keithscudder7136 The emblem is halfway under water, and the stern is way low due to the weight of those 3 outboards. That’s not the way they are designed, sorry.
@@shane6284 That's obvious that the owner had made that engine choice. The Factory made those boats with the emblem above the waterline. After the factory made the boat, changes to the boat was made then, not for the better. The new Captain must of wanted speed. On every boat there is a plaque about how many H.P. can go on the transom and also how many people the boat can carry, maybe he was supposed to have only two engines. Have a nice Day.
@@keithscudder7136 That was exactly my point, that boat was not designed to have that much power on the transom. I was obviously making a joke about the boat sinking. The whole bow is out of the water, I can’t imagine that boat rides well or planes off without having all passengers sitting in the front.

Your marina is price gouging for sure. I don't know why the price never goes down from the 6.75 price. We're down to 5.75 at our marinas on the Great Lakes and even less at the gas stations for the REC90. Maybe that's why you never film anybody getting gas at that marina.
They are gouging for sure.. looks like they're tacking on an extra $2.50 per gallon compared to gas stations on the street..

@@karaDee2363 Street gas has Ethanol, we can't use that in outboards. The ethanol ruins the Fuel system and on newer engines it voids the warranty if the engine has any ethanol in it. They do add some oil to help cool the engine.
Rich is better than lean on the 2-strokes.

I would tend to agree with the notion of a water pump. I've re-built motors for over 40 years and they all had a water pump.
