This is the same procedure for pass and driver side correct or is the filter only on the pass side?

They are on both sides. At driver's side it is a bit more complicated but worth replacing. You need torx 10 and screwdriver. You need to screw of plastic above driver's legs and the filter is behind legs ventilation canal. I wish You luck!
