Pretty sure we're watching origin rick and morty from episode 1. The rick and morty that blew up in the garage were from a timeline where morty just got rick a screwdriver like he asked. The original morty asked for love potion which made rick not blow them up. Love watching you guys react to this show cuz you guys give off 2 different reactions 😂
Wait, in this reality morty does give the screwdriver but only after Rick manage to actually reverse the love potion side effects from the world. Our Rick failed to resolve this issue. That's why our morty never had the chance to give him the screwdriver.
Just because it could matter with 7 seasons of continuity, up to this point we have the original Rick and Morty from episode 1. The original Beth, Jerry, and Summer are on the original world which has had the rest of the population turn into horrible monsters. If Jerry was switched, this would be the third Jerry we’ve followed.
