Years ago, I was a college intern at the former Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain in Denver. I got to meet Joel Klatt working there - good dude, smart, always prepared, even then.
He talks about the “confetti test” being a barometer for a quarterback, and then when asked if Quinn Ewers passes the confetti test he goes on to talk about the team being able to win it all, not specifically the quarterback. So Lamar doesn’t pass the confetti test, because it’s Lamar…and Quinn does because of his team
@8:15 like duh. once they announced an expanded playoff, i knew it was going to be an excuse to get the marquee names in no matter their record. michigan, ohio st, usc, texas are in regardless who lose to.
Klatt loves him some Colorado. I'm happy he's more realistic about their flaws now. You simply can't microwave success. Especially when the coaching is still questionable.
Hope Joel enjoyed his appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, cause it was his last. DP hated it; the confetti bit didn't work, his Colorado & Notre Dame analysis was underwhelming & generic. The final question, Joel apparently couldn't hear...just stick with Colin Coward.
That’d be a bitch move on DP’s part. And the confetti line was stupid anyway. Klatt’s actually providing accurate analysis to these guys whose lives revolve around the NFL. It’s painful listening to them try to discuss college ball on their own.
Joel Klatt , top notch analysis as always .
Yes !! We need Klatt on here all the time !
Klatt is awesome and informative as always.

Never heard of him, this guy is great
Joel knows
The best college football analyst there is!

Good observation… he definitely did some double talk there
We should learn a lot about both teams this weekend. But BOTH teams have a lot of tough, tough games in front of them!
that doesn't look like a Hampton Inn lol

Joel is as good as it gets for CFB lol huge overreaction
If that is true, he'll live. His appearances on cowherd are much better anyway

@@kendallandrews8691 yeah, knew you were a Coward guy
Good to see Joel moving around in the industry and slapping Colin Cowherd so much 😂😂
