You only need fertile land for plant based farms. Livestock Farms dont need fertile land, so you could use those as real farms.
This build reminds me of my home country of Suriname. It’s just 1/2 cities, towns and villages connected by 2 roads. In the middle of the jungle, with some lots for farms. Very beautiful!
I have just bought this game after watching this series and all it does is crash to desktop every 5 mins sometime even quicker ! Can anybody help ??
With the restricted amount of surfaces you have there your farmlands are looking great SG! I'm hoping you'll be able to take the new landscaping tooling coming very soon and just make the whole landscape sing! ...and no flooding today!
Planner here. Trees around farmland are environmentally realistic. They create ecological corridors for animals and insects. It's actually common in England; farmers get subsidies for creating/protecting these corridors.
Finally got mods to work for me on gamepass i think i want to make a countryside kinda map like a county

please remove industries from that part of the town and move to your main town
If you'd like a field to look like a fruit orchard put the forestry texture down then line the trees up.
Usually in the rule towns there is a mix commercial housing usually it act as a bar or restaurant
Building outward really pulls things together!
